Clean and Quiet
Our room was extremely clean and quiet, our beds were comfy, and the staff was very friendly. Nice selection of breakfast items for being in the middle of a pandemic and not being able to serve hot food, lots of prepackaged choices. Will definitely stay there again when in Bangor.
Another great stay
My daughter and I needed a place to stay when I had to bring her back to the University of Maine. As always, the Country Inn provided a beautiful place to stay for two nights. Thank you for everything.
Cleanest Hotel I've Stayed At!
There was no hair in the bathroom, and the blankets weren't spotted with suspicious stains that I didn't want to touch - these are 2 big things for me! Because of the cleanliness, I was able to relax more during my stay. I was able to use the fitness center, which I was very thankful for. I do wish there were more options, and I wish the elliptical and treadmill were newer. The elliptical electrical functions didn't work so I used it manually, but it was unsteady and didn't feel safe. The treadmill was a little slow to work, but eventually I was able to get a good workout. I was thankful that despite COVID-19, the hotel did have a simple take-out breakfast with a couple of healthier options like fruit cup in juice and oatmeal packets, and not only prepackaged unhealthy pasties and sugar cereals. Bed was comfortable, Cable TV worked with a simple remote control. Microwave and Fridge in room was very appreciated. Overall, very happy and will definitely choose this hotel each time I travel to the area - which will be often as my daughter is going to college nearby.
Weekend Stay
Unfortunately sound carried a lot in this hotel, lots loud doors and loud voices. Due to COVID 19 they really paired down their breakfast selection, all they had was cereals and limited “grab and go” pre packaged, pastry type of things. Pretty disappointing. Was conveniently located to most of the places we planned to stop at. Room was cramped but clean!
The Country Inn at the Mall is Fantastic!
Every time I am in the Bangor area I stay at the Inn. It is clean, cozy and the staff there are phenomenal! It is close to everything in Bangor, yet when I am there, I feel like we are in a different world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I love it!
