Laid back quiet hotel, but worth a visit.

The hotel is a little out of the way but well signposted. There's a nice relaxed feel to the place, young, friendly staff and interesting decor on a nautical/beach theme with lots of unique custom furniture and features. Food was good with a few basic/usual vegetarian options, but substantial portions. Pizzas good too. It's a good base to explore the south western corner of Cumbria and we'd stay there again.

Hotel and staff are fab. Good and service were also very good. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom high spec and stylish. The only thing that let it down was the water temp- just bearable for a quick shower but not hot enough for a bath after a chilly few hours walking in the dunes.

Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night. We ate in the restaurant and had breakfast. Food was lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend and would stay again. The only thing the bar shuts at 9pm this wasn't a problem for us as we don't drink but was earlier than expected. Reception staff helpful. Room very clean, hotel lovely snd everywhere clean

Didn’t know anything about this place beforehand, just bought a Groupon voucher for a couple of days away. Staff were brilliant, food was great and beer was cold! Used as a base to explore the area a bit, highly recommended and would return!!

Booked a dinner bed and breakfast deal at the Dunes. It was fantastic. Great staff and service, lovely room and great bathroom. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. It was so good, we’ve already booked to return!
