Very good.. get what you pay for
Booked then checked the reviews after which is always a bad choice, so I expected the worst. Arrived and had a straight forward check in.. I paid for a superior room.. which was pretty good for 37 quid. Nice bed.. decent bathroom and shower. Would stop again
Poor
I should have listened to the other reviewers and stayed away. This hotel is dirty, has non functioning lifts, in need of updating and frankly disappointing. Staff seem to be doing their best but unable to find anyone senior to answer problems. Outside there is litter, debris and cigarette butts and on our carpet under the bed were bottle tops missed by housekeeping’s vacuum. Lamentable.
Don't do it!
The first room we were given was unclean and we were offered another room which wasn't much of an improvement. Housekeeping NEEDS some training as the hotel is disgusting. Had to wipe everything down and do some more cleaning before settling in. The car park is filthy, filled with old children's toys and rubbish. The hotel had young children loitering around and their shoes scattered in the corridors. It resembled more of a hostel than a hotel. Everything was just dirty. If you value cleanliness this is NOT the hotel for you.
Don't stay here
Young man at reception greeted us very warmly thats where the good part of our stay ended. Our room felt dirty and uncared for, the curtains were hanging off the rail, there was a hole in the bathroom door, carpet very stained, I went to make some coffee NO milk asked at reception (now a sour faced lady was told housekeeping would bring us still waiting next morning. The Bed was so lumpy and uncomfortable also the sheets were too small for the bed did not sleep at all, Asked if we could change rooms and was just told NO. I've stayed in better 2 star hotels .then this before.
Worse experience ever !!
Unprofessional. Greeted with grumpy faces.My friend got stuck twice in the bathroom as door had no handle. Hair in the shower. To top it off we got stuck in the lift for more than 30 minutes. Reception kept putting phone down on us instead of giving us reassurance that things will be fine especially when one of us is asthmatic. They even lied to us saying they have calling emergency service.Upon coming out there was not a single apology not even an offer of a glass of water.We tried to talk to the guy in charge but he just walked away. Very unprofessional bunch. If anyone deserves a star in this hotel it is the cleaning lady.She was the only one that stops in her way to greet you and talk to you.
