Excelente!!! Atendimento e localização perfeito! Não tem mais o que falar, apenas não entendi "não tem frigobar no quarto"! Acho que já teve!!! Não tem restaurante pra pedir comida à noite, mas também tem restaurante na frete. Não faz falta. Quarto grande e silencioso! Tudo pertinho! Vale muito a pena! RECOMENDO!!!!!
We had a reservation here but it was/is closed.
We accidently pulled into the garage for Best Western City Hotel. They let us into the garage and when we went to the reception they told us that we were at the wrong BW but since the other was closed they had changed our booking to the BW City Hotel. So it was fortunate that we went to the wrong parking garage. Not sure if we ended up paying for a room/hotel of lesser value. The City Hotel is smaller and was still relatively empty so it makes sense that they closed the larger hotel.
Good business hotel next to the city centre
I stayed at the BW for three nights. The hotel is conveniently located on the southern end of the city centre, with lots of shops and restaurants close by. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, spacious. You can tell from the bathroom that the building itself is a bit older that it appears at first, yet that is not an issue. The breakfast, as other mentioned already, is quite nice. Not too much but what they have is of really good quality. The hotel offers free entrance to a good gym a block away. nice extra.
A great find!
Stayed a couple of nights while visiting the Christmas Market. I really liked this hotel from the moment I entered. It is furnished in period style fitting well with Braunscweig's Heritage listing. It's colourful, bright and tastefully decorated for the Christmas period. My single room was located on the ground floor, also tastefully decorated, decent size for a single, large bathroom, big TV screen on the wall, tea/coffee facilities, good sized safe, bathroom products, ok wifi in the room. It was comfortable and warm. My only problem was with it's actual location. Being close to the lift and rear car park entrance it was busy and easy to hear other guests in the hall. However, I had no problems sleeping (fortunately). Buffet breakfast was included in my package. The restaurant again in period style was nice and cozy. There was quite an extensive Continental display with a small selection of hot dishes. Everything I tried was tasty. Beware, the small stuffed red things are NOT cherry tomatoes, they are chilies! The staff were excellent and helpful. If you are arriving by train, the number 5 tram or 429 bus will deliver you close to the hotel. Would recommend this place. For anyone who is interested the Christmas Market is excellent, especially at night. Try to avoid weekends.
Business trip
Hotel in the city center, good accomodation. In hotel s not a restaurant, only little bar, but breakfests are good. Only one bad thing - not too many parking places for guest cars. In hotel is smoking room, good airconditioned!
