Contudo, o Hotel deixou a desejar no quesito qualidade do sono. A internet é boa e gratuita.
Ski Trip
I opted for the Inn in order to get a larger room. We had a queen and two twins. It was a corner room so lots of windows and separate room with twin beds. (A TV would’ve been nice in the twin room but no biggie.) The Inn was very beautiful and there weren’t many guests around. There were plenty of seats in the lobby area to relax and there was always a real fire going on the fireplace. Everything was clean. Dining at the Inn is closed due to covid which we knew. We walked to the Omni to get take out for dinner. There is a shorter path thru the woods or you can also walk on the road. The Omni is gorgeous. Take out was easy. We ordered at the bar and food was ready in about 15/20 minutes. And still hot after walking back to our room to eat. There is complimentary coffee and pastries in the morning at the Inn at front desk. This was wonderful as there wasn’t anything else around to grab quickly without going up to the Omni or waiting until getting to the slopes. Employees were great. Each front desk person was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. One piece of constructive criticism are that the mattresses and sheets need to be upgraded. The bed should be the star of the show and the mattresses were a tad soft and worn feeling. I felt for the price of the room the sheets should’ve been upgraded as well. Overall I would love to stay here again. We enjoyed the skiing and the convenience of staying at this gorgeous resort just down the road from Bretton Woods. The views of Mount Washington are breathtaking.
Cozy inn attached to the Omni Mt Washington resort that accepts pets
The rooms are warm and well appointed at this inn. The building dates back to 1896. The atmosphere is warm including the friendly and helpful staff. Room sizes are good and bathrooms are modern, with good shower pressure. Because the inn is a ways from the dining rooms and the wine bar and dining at the inn are closed due to Covid, they have arranged to have muffins and pastries and coffee/tea behind the front desk in the morning. The inn is about a mile and change from the Bretton Woods ski resort. One has access to all the dining rooms, spa and facilities at the main resort. They are very pet friendly so a lot of folks with their dogs are staying here. The public spaces are also open and a good place to gather. Despite the drawback of not having their own dining room we would definitely come back to stay here. The shuttle between the inn and the main hotel is not available due to Covid. So you have to drive your car or take a walk up the hill to the main hotel which given it’s been in the teens this week might not be a pleasant walk! That is the only drawback - which is that if you do want to use the spa you need to bundle up and go the main hotel. We really liked the mountain, and would like to come back when it is completely open as only a few trails were open this past week due to early winter conditions. There were some disruptive guests at the inn. There was a lot of running and banging on doors and commotion above us three nights in a row. Apparently no one complained until the third night. Which is unfortunate. Security did seem to deal with it once the complaints were logged with the front desk. The building is old so you can hear a lot of sounds - particularly the plumbing in the walls.
Amazing Property, disappointing COVID strategy
My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. The property is gorgeous and the location can’t be beat. We absolutely understand and respect changes in protocol due to COVID. However, these are my issues: - Coffee shop was closed, only 1 restaurant and bar open for entire property; they allowed people not staying on site to make restaurant reservations and use the bar. When they are operating on 50% capacity, I don’t think it’s right to do that. We were unable to get a table and we were staying there. - No complimentary coffee available in rooms or lobby for guests; I have never stayed at a place that does not offer complimentary coffee. I’m floored that at $400 per night they can’t offer morning coffee for guests when I get complimentary coffee at Comfort Inn! Summary: after spending $2000 in 3 days, I would have expected complimentary coffee in the morning. I also wish they let us know either on website or front desk of closed amenities. I don’t mind things were closed, but I wish they let us know. Communication is key.
