Front desk clerk did not tell us about upgrades

We checked in around 5:00 p.m. and went straight to our room. When we walked in, there was a whirlpool tub in the corner, much to our surprise. We left and went to dinner and came back and put a few things in the refrigerator only to find there was soda left in there. On top of the counter was a popcorn packet next to the microwave. We left all those things there as it appeared no one had cleaned the room very well, which was upsetting due to COVID-19. I definitely did not sleep well thinking that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We were staying for 2 nights. When we checked out , the lady at the front desk asked how we liked our upgrade? We told her we had no idea there was an upgrade and I was wondering the whole time how much they were going to charge us for the whirlpool room. She said, no, I upgraded you myself. Didn't the check-in person tell you. We replied that he had not. My husband then asked about the soda and popcorn and sure enough, that had been left there for our use too. We did not use either of them as we had no idea they were for us. I just wish the desk clerk would have told us when we checked in. It would not have been such a worrysome 2 nights.

several employees made my stay as relaxing, rewarding, and comfortable after a long day of headaches and issues before arriving, the COMFORT STAFF turned my bad day into a GREAT DAY... Thanks to FRONT DESK CLERKS ROBIN, JESSICA, and LORNA...... wow, management, you have FANTASTIC EMPLOYEES, and they DESERVE PRAISE... Nice clean resort as well, with nice breakfast, fitness center, and cozy indoor pool and jacuzzi... Room was very quaint as well... God Bless and Thanks

It is a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were on a bus tour of 48 persons and the breakfast area was quite small for that number of people. Also, there is only one elevator and can cause a delay with a large group arriving at one time. There were multiple restaurants within walking distance one of which is a Cracker Barrel.

Stopped late after a long day of driving. Did not have a reservation, as unsure how far we could drive. Had a variety of hotels to pick from, chose Comfort Inn & Suites as usually no surprises and good value. Staff was welcoming and got a good deal. Nice indoor pool.

Very Clean, quiet, with nearby restaurants. Well maintained pool and spa. Right off I-70 with easy access. We requested adjoining rooms and were graciously accommodated. Cambridge is a quaint town worth driving through just a mile down the road. We were on a 7-day road trip from Illinois to Maryland and this was an oasis after a long drive. The breakfast exceeded expectations, with good variety and quite a few extras. All staff were genuinely friendly and cared about customer satisfaction. They put out fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon too!
