Feels like more like a 2 or 3 star hotel

Nice and clean, but it doesn’t look like in the pictures. The breakfast is okay but not more than that. The rooms are a bit old and quite noisy. There is a good private parking. The SPA is NOT a Spa. It’s a cold hot tub and a sauna - nothing more. Don’t got for it - it’s a waste of money.

Nice hotel but not worth its title as a spa hotel

The hotel was fine with pleasant staff. The room was nice and clean although not equipped for a spa hotel. There were no robes or other amenities you would expect in a spa hotel. The breakfast was decent but plain, so don’t expect quality products. We bought the spa access but only used the spa one time. It certainly didn’t live up to a spa area as one would expect with very limited and cheap facilities. The view was outstanding from the room though.

Quality environment and service. Nice location with view on Castelsardo’s fort and sea shore. You can enjoy the view of both while having your breakfast. Spa and outside pool provides great comfort when you’re too tired to walk to the beach. Definitely recommended.

Very nice people and a good place to stay near the beach Also parking place avvailable Pool clean and warm Breakfast was okay Center near also the castle Good Service and clean rooms with air condition

Worst ever and most impolite hotel tenant met in 30+ years

Worst tenant because the hotel personnel were very gentle and probably suffer even more than travelers which is very sad but I honestly can't recommend this hotel to anyone. We purchased a package directly to the hotel website including the SPA (+ € 150 for 5 days) and made sure the SPA was open and without any restrictions, this was confirmed from them by email. At the time of checking in, the receptionist told us to book the SPA directly at the SPA reception; there, at our biggest surprise, we were told the SPA was restricted to 2 persons at a time, but the SPA was already fully booked for that day and next. I therefore asked the hotel reception to refund the SPA since the rules have changed as we cannot any longer benefit from it as expected but they refused it; I requested to give us me something in return, e.g. the parking fee and eventually drinks (along the half-board also pre-purchased); finally I got an email in return saying they would pay 2 bottles of wine but for the parking would let me know, pending to her manager decisions; I wasn't positive about the parking but asked again the next day, same response, the manager hasn't yet taken any decision. At the time of checking out, the only deducted one bottle of wine. There came the best part, the receptionist started to speak with a man standing close by us, obviously arguing about my queries. In short, they refused to gift me the parking but also said one of the bottle cannot be for free due to its price. The free bottle was around €18 while the second one was € 30 though the wine selection had many up to € 70 as well as one over € 300.... I claimed that the email was referring to two wine bottles for free, nothing else mentioned. The man was then asking to speak to the waiter, the situation became very embarrassing since the waiter had been doing a very good service during the 5 dinners. I was at the reception with 3 folks from the hotel, one that didn't say any word directly to me, never looked into my eyes. I asked the "stupid” question to the receptionist, who is this man ? she said this is my boss, the hotel tenant. The hotel tenant was shifting all faults to his personnel in front of us, never said good morning or nothing else you usually get, whether it is a 2 or 4 star (this one pretends to be !) hotel, simply unbelievable ! We feel very sorry for the personnel working under such bad management! I do hope my review won't be taken as general statement about Castelsardo location and local citizens. By the way, watch out, the same hotel tenant has also another hotel in the village called Janus Hotel, I would also not consider it knowing our poor experience !
