AS A COACH DRIVER I CANNOT RECCOMEND THIS HOTEL HIGHLY ENOUGH FOR ITS SERVICEAND PROFFESINIALSM FROM ARRIVAL TO DEPARTURE 7 STAR TREATMENT FOOD AMAZING AS WELL 11/10 THANKS FOR A GREAT STAY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Stayed here for one night in June. Lovely room, clean & modern. Most of the staff were polite and friendly. The problem was we were awoken at a ridiculous hour by the sound of construction work being done in the room right next to ours. Had to ring down reception 3 or 4 times before they stopped it. We were later contacted by a particularly rude receptionist as we were 10 minutes late checking out of the hotel. Poor planning to place guests right beside renovations, no apology, very disappointing experience ruined what was otherwise a nice hotel.

We recently stayed for two nights at the Ellison in one of its suites - Room 107, a lovely room with a very comfy super king-sized bed. The hotel is nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The staff are welcoming and very efficient. The car parking is free and very convenient, with direct access to the hotel. Ver convenient for country walks and the town centre. Excellent value too.

Stayed in The Ellison on February 13th for 1 night. From start to finish the stay was excellent. Firstly ample parking in multi storey carpark next to hotel with lifts to rooms and reception from carpark. This carpark was free to residents. Reception staff very friendly on arrival and very helpful. Room was to front of hotel on 4th floor but there was little or no noise from what is a busy road. Room was spotless as was ensuite. Breakfast was very good in the morning this being self service and there was ample choices from selection of cereals to cooked breakfasts. No shortage of tea or coffee. Waiting staff were again very polite and helpful. This hotel is perfect location for shows/events in The TF Royal Theatre and is only a 2 minute walk to this venue. Also most convenient for shopping in Castlebar Town. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the not too distant future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Ellison is pitch perfect for, in this instance an overnight stay linked to a business trip. Warm friendly engaged welcome from the young lady at Reception. When I mentioned that her accent was not of Mayo she humerously replied that she was from Bavaria but was working on her Mayo accent. At my request she recommend a wonderful morning walk by Lake Lannagh just across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom was impeccably clean - seemed recently refurbished. Quiet night - no inside or outside noise. Morning reception team as efficient and polite. Parking very convenient in the adjacent multi-story car-park .. included in the value-for-money room rate. This is a well managed property. Well done all.
