Room was simply terrible. The strong mildew smell that hit you in the face when entering our room permeated everything in it. Wrapped a t-shirt around my pillow so I didn't have to touch it directly, the couch in our suite looked like something that someone else had put out for garbage pickup, and the air conditioning unit fired up so loud in the middle of the night that we initially thought there was some kind of event going on outside. The cardboard walls helped us stay up to date on the relay races being held in the hallways. We decided to forego the second night we had booked and just accept the waste of money because no one wanted to stay another night in the room / hotel. The only good thing about our stay was the person behind the front desk, but she couldn't overcome the awfulness that was our room. There are better options in the area, find one of those instead.

I booked a 2 night stay here and ended up canceling my second night and switch to another location it was that bad! and it was one the most terrible things me and my family have ever experienced! The pool was nasty! The lobby bathrooms were nasty with no tissue! I picked out my room in advance on the app and when I checked in they told me my room was no longer available and put me in another room which was noisy! I reported this to management and she didn’t seem to care and was going back and forth with me! The worst ghetto customer service!

Our stay was not what we’ve come to expect as long time HHonors members. To start of we got an alert for our digital key so we went straight to our room and it was not working. after to trips to rhe front desk to get that figured out we finally got into our room. Upon entering we were met with a loud noise coming from the AC unit and a tv that was not properly working. We addressed these issues with Essence and she well some of them are loud and can’t be fixed as for the tv she said the maintenance person was gone but she would call if we wanted. Not much help. We finally got the tv to work on our own. There were 2 adults and 2 children listed on the reservation. When time to shower we noticed on 2 sets of towels also while in the bathroom 1 roll of toilet tissue that was almost gone and a piece of soap that look to already have been used. For a 3rd time I was had the front desk. Asking for the room necessities. The front desk person said sorry we don’t have towels and wash clothes and gave me a roll of tissue and sent me on my way, so my husband and I were unable to shower in order for our kids to be able to get cleaned up after a long day of travel. It was disappointing. Our bathroom and bedroom was poorly cleaned and we actually went out to get our own cleaning supplies to clean. I have a receipt as proof. The bathroom had a bad smell coming from the drain in the center of the bathroom and it smelled like smoke. The next morning 6/3 we went down to breakfast at 8:20 and all the food was gone and hadn’t been restocked and the lady working breakfast wasn’t going to restock. The breakfast was until 9am and there was nothing there to eat. Another family got there right after us with 2 small children and they were left without food as well and no one was accommodating to insure the guest had food available until 9am. My kids wanted to use the pool and but were unable to because it was absolutely dirty and unkept and freezing. You could see the body oils and dirt on top of the water and the cloudiness of the water. There were broken flickering lights and just overall were and tear and a unkept space. We are checking out tomorrow and I can say we will definitely not be returning to this location. We chose this place because we stayed here before and had a great experience but never again. This property has gone downhill from the customer service to the upkeep.
Staff make this hotel unbearable.

Staff is completely awful. No customer service skills. They act like you are bothering them. If you stay here interact with them a least as possible. I don't recommend this place for an extended stay. One or two nights maximum.
No air conditioning, poor condition

First room, shades did not work. Second room, no air conditioning. Brought to attention of GM. Told note would be left for next day shift and fixed immediately. Did not happen. Returned in afternoon, no note, not fixed. Maintenance man finally hot wired the a/c which worked for three hours, then quit. Finally relocated to third room on day three.
