Fiquei em uma suíte de um quarto bem grande e confortável. O hotel fica a pouca distância do centro histórico e de Monticello, O café da manhã é bem simples no padrão americano. Limpeza e atendimento muito bons.

The people who work here are fantastic. Every single person was friendly, polite and helpful - going beyond to be even more helpful. We felt welcomed and valued. Our one-bedroom suite was comfortable and outfitted with everything we might need - all kitchen items, bathroom amenities. The room was quiet. We had an issue with the bedroom AC that was attended to and fixed immediately, again, by a friendly and polite handy man. Breakfast was plentiful with protein items, waffles, fruit, juices, breads and cereals. The breakfast area was spotless with associates constantly cleaning up and re-supplying items. We were there for the Wednesday evening social - delicious soup, spinach salad, cheeses, crackers, wine and beer. The only downsides were really old flat pillows and some grimy areas (the curtains.) And, as with so many hotels these days, there's no daily housekeeping. But, those things paled against the outstanding staff. The hotel is pet friendly with a steep fee of $75, however, they were welcoming to our little dog.

Stayed her for a concert at Jones Paul Jones Arena. Nice clean hotel with a great location, close to the venue and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. We took advantage of the free breakfast where Virginia and Tim were very accommodating and friendly and went above and beyond getting us what we needed! Thanks so much for a great stay.

The phrase "make yourself at home" is well-meaning; it means to relax and help yourself. But I prefer to be a guest. Guests get the best towels in the place. Some folks reserve fancy dinnerware for guests and even have guestrooms with the best mattress. Arguably, being a welcomed guest is pretty sweet. VA (short for Virginia), Tim, and Clarence made us feel like welcomed guests while having breakfast during our recent stay at Homewood Suites in Charlottesville. It was early morning, but everything was clean, sparkling, and on point. We followed the aroma of sausage, hashbrowns, and eggs into the serving area. We could hear laughter and banter coming from the kitchen. Tim greeted us first. He saw me struggling with trying to remember how to use the waffle maker. I didn't have to ask for his coaching. With a broad smile, he stepped into the buffet area and said, "You got this; let me help you make a good fat waffle." Tim is a good coach, and I impressed my wife with my new skills. That waffle was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Thank you, Tim! Every group has an emotional leader; I argue that title belongs to Virginia. She watched the serving area to ensure each guest had a good experience. She introduced herself and asked if everything was to our liking. She offered to bring things to our table and made us feel welcome. She didn't linger too long; she was busy but wanted to ensure we felt welcome. She noticed that one guest needed a better carton of milk and called Clarence to make a substitution, which he did quickly. The good food, laughter, attention to detail, and conversation made us feel like welcomed guests. It was a great start to the day, and we appreciated it!

The Staff at this place is very welcoming and awesome! The kitchen staff Kim and clarance, and Tim. They went above and beyond for our stay . And they are funny. They kept things clean and refilled and were just so awesome. The housekeeping is awesome as well as front staff!!!! I actually think all of the staff is awesome, helpful and very friendly! Love y’all Room 101
