Amazing hotel!

What an amazing hotel!! This is the place you want to be in Polanco. Rooms are spacious, staff is super friendly, and you’re only 2 blocks from the Main Street of Presidente Masaryk. Very boutique hotel experience versus the luxury hotel chains. Within walking distance or a short Uber ride to so many restaurants and other parts of the city. 2 top 10 World restaurants (2022 list) are near by - Pujol and Quintonil. Both are worth your time. Museo Soumaya is also a must see. Shout out to so many of the staff members and I’m sure some who I’ve neglected to mention - Mauro, Hugo, Aaron, Jesus, Irving, Francisco, Ricardo. Thank you for an amazing visit to CDMX! I hope to return soon!

Wild Oscar is a Gem

The Wild Oscar is a wonderful boutique hotel located in the Polanco area of Mexico City. We were referred there by a friend and were happy that we stayed. We visited the large American hotels in the city to compare and they did not have the intimate personal vibe that the Wild Oscar has. The staff makes the hotel special and our package includes breakfast every day. The breakfast was excellent and the coffee was phenomenal. Pros: *Location and staff are the best things about this hotel. It is In a very safe location with a nice private entrance and security tucked away from traffic and within walking distance of all of the best restaurants in town. *Extremely clean and modern/contemporary rooms. *Staff is outstanding and their English is excellent which can be a challenge in a lot of other places. The staff we would like to compliment our restaurant staff and Miguel Martinez, Aaron Isidro, and Guadalupe Mejendez (Lupillo). They made our stay wonderful. *Rooms are beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, with nice balconies, and amenities. The snack bar is loaded with excellent snacks. *Gym is nice and clean with everything you would need for a complete workout including a refrigerator with bottled water and fresh green apples. * You can eat breakfast inside or outside on the patio in the serving area. Cons: *Our AC was broken (Room 404) and maintenance was able to fix the master bedroom AC with no problem. Unfortunately, the lounge area of the suite had a broken AC which was never able to be repaired. Other than that, this boutique we highly recommend and we would be happy to return. *No bathtub, but this is not unusual in hotels here. * We did find cleaning rags left in the room from housekeeping several times. Stay here, you will not regret it. The staff responds to everything ASAP. Wine served in evenings, safe and beautiful.

Great hotel quiet, upscale, clean and great customer service. Very good food. Breakfast waiters Arron and Guadalupe took very good care of us. Irving was a great waiter for dinner. Close to everything, the Museum of Anthropology, restaurants and stores. If you want to go anywhere, they will call you a cab. Speaking Spanish and English. Definately would stay there again.

Perfect CDMX stay for my family

I cannot say enough about this lovely gem in Polanco. Situated in the perfect location, just steps off the posh Campos Elíseos, a five min walk to the sprawling and serene Chapultepec Park, and blocks from a high end strip of shops and restaurants. We wanted somewhere quiet as this was my husband and children’s first visit to Mexico City. We spent most of our visit exploring the city’s most important and culturally significant locales and restaurants, and The Wild Oscar was the most welcoming and comfortable retreat to return to for resting. My husband and two children (ages 10 and 12) shared two connecting courtyard rooms on the second floor, with one king and two doubles. The space was perfectly spacious for our family and offered ample comforts of home: luxe beds and linens for sound sleeping, beautifully tiled bathrooms with excellent water pressure and lovely soaps (the master bathroom had beautiful natural lighting due to the floor to ceiling privacy window in the shower! I listened to the birds chirp every morning)… more comforts included robes, slippers, mini bar with simple refreshments (free!), thoughtful lighting options to light the room or space to our liking, black out curtains, beautiful closet and dresser space, helpful built-ins for suitcases and jackets, catch-alls for jewelry, nightly chocolates and turn down service, lovely landscaped rooftop, free breakfast and coffee service on the main floor… Our rooms were cleaned daily and replenished with fresh towels and water. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. Most of all, I appreciated the thoughtfulness of each moment, from the doorman who would unlock and open the front door upon each return, to the friendly hospitality and front desk staff greetings (thank you Carlos y Hugo for accommodating us in English). People seem to enjoy working here and this good energy was apparent to us as guests. Very well decorated and designed! 5 stars. Opportunity: adding a wall banister in stairwell.
