Cleaning staff need training

Have stayed at this spot many times on road trips over the years. Although clearly in need of an upgrade, it has always been an acceptable place to stay. No longer. During our last visit, we were a few minutes late leaving the room after having checked in close to midnight. The cleaning people on duty that day must have wanted to get done early, and they knocked on the door several times before checkout (despite the do not disturb sign) and then came back and banged loudly with their fists on the door repeatedly at approximately five minutes past check out time. We left the room a few minutes later, and when we reported this behavior at the front desk while checking out, the cleaning employee, who was standing within earshot close to the desk, laughed as we made the complaint. Clearly, more training in "hospitality" is needed.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for work every other week for 2 years but I’ve stayed my last. I’ve asked if renovations will ever be done and was told they were done this past year?? I’m here every other week, the only renovation was painting the outside of the building. There is still mold and damage in the bathrooms including the ceilings, many usb outlets do not work to charge your phone, many outlets do not work, be careful with some lamp lightbulbs as they are not attached, the sheets are not deep pocket so you will wake up in some beds with the sheets off, they’ve taken all luggage racks out, and my most recent visit there was no tv, only the nbc news channel worked. When calling the front desk I was told it hadn’t worked for 2 days. 2 days seriously and you don’t see a problem with this??? I’ve always tried to stay with the Hilton family of hotels but this hotel is an absolute disgrace to the name. I’ve heard others say even the Motel 6 across the street is better than this hotel. That is just pathetic as it completely brings down the Hilton name. I’ll be going down the street to the Holiday Inn. Yes, the Holiday Inn is much much better. Go figure. Very sad.

Staff is kind, rooms need severe deep clean. My son and I passed thru on our way to MI. The carpet was sticky, the counters were dirty, the shower had mold, the towels were stained, the door to the bathroom dragged on the tile. The sheets were clean at least. I am a gold HH member and only booked here cause I prefer to stay on brand and I was worried about a roadside motel. The building was safe but not clean at all. The breakfast was lackluster, but not for lack of effort by the breakfast attendant, promote that woman asap!

We have stayed here several time but never again. Not only did the general manager Kinza refuse to honor the rates on our confirmation email, one of the rooms in our group was disgusting. There was feces left on the toilet and hair in the bathtub. When we got a shower, we were up to our ankles in water because the drain was so clogged. I had to contact Hilton's corporate office to get a refund for the amount they overcharged us. Do yourself a favor and chose on of the other hotels in Clarion. This one is dirty and they have deceptive business practices.

Rooms are in need of a deep clean

As diamond Hilton members, we were very shocked at how dirty this Hampton Inn was. The mold and mildew in the bathroom was really gross. We wiped down the room with wipes and the wood-like tile was filthy. The whole hotel really needs a serious deep clean. The location was convenient and pretty quiet and breakfast was typical Hampton fare.
