Disappointed with this one. I expected more from Holiday Inn, for some reason. The room was very musty. Zero ventilation! Everything felt damp in the room. The ac was ok but not consistent at all. The door didn’t work well at all. It took us many tries to open it with the key card. Frustrating. There was no fridge or microwave! Really annoying. Several of The towels were really, really ratty! Several areas of stucco missing in the bathroom, too. The street noise here is terrible. The pool is ok but the street noise makes it very unpleasant to be out there. All in all, I would definitely not recommend this place. Being part of the IHG brand apparently doesn’t matter much. You would think there would be minimum requirements and standards but this time be missed the mark.

Appreciated the Platinum upgrade to an ocean view room even during a sold-out holiday week, some IHG hotels suck at this. 20-minute walk to the closest beach at the Riu, I’d recommend walking down the dirt road that runs behind the hotel rather than the main highway. Very nice that the rooftop pool was kept heated. Good breakfast buffet. Great deal on points. Overall exceeded my expectations. Definitely try to face the ocean. Zero road noise and a much more pleasant view.

Bad experience in Cabo

I don’t know how to start but the only thing “good” about this hotel is accessibility. Pool is in poor shape, employees are very disorganized specially the “kitchen for the such called continental breakfast “. Quality of room is average. Quality of breakfast poor. Service at room is ok but they expect you to leave tip? Work harder for it is my true recommendation! After being on other hotels in the area such as Pueblo Bonito I knew this was low grade but still wanted to give it a shot! MEVER AGAIN! Use a hotel closer to town or north of the area, avoid at all cost.

Very happy with our stay at this hotel. We decided to stay here one quick night before moving to our all inclusive a mile down the road. The rooms were modern, very cold AC and comfortable beds! Around the area within a 4-10 minute walk is bars and restaurants with great food and drink choices! They had a free breakfast with warm breakfast options too (chillequillas yum). I heard that right outside the hotel is the bus that takes you into town for $1! Would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here several times and the hotel always meets my expectations. The hotel is very clean by any standards. The included breakfast is a great way to start the day. The price per night is very good. The staff are all helpful and professional. It is close to Cabo and about 25 minutes to San Jose. A short drive to any where. There is currently a good view of the arch and a nice pool area to chill out at on the roof. 3 great restaurants (Mexican, bistro and sushi) all within 100 yards of the lobby. Also a convenience store in the same complex. This hotel is my first pick when staying in the area. I highly recommend it.
