Great Stay, clean rooms and friendly staff

Stayed here with my family, we had a great experience. Rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be staying here again , its also right off the 680 very convenient. They're also renovating the rooms with new furniture an carpet and really giving the hotel a make over. Breakfast is good, if you want a premium option you can purchase the breakfast from sunrise bistro

Worst the WORST hotel I've ever been to! Do not stay here. Stole my money. Stayed here for 4 days, during My stay my room key wouldn't work dozens of Times I went downstairs to have it changed, waited hours in the cold while someone came and fixed it then happen again after! I was told they can't change it for 2 days so basically stay there. -_- like I couldn't leave or else I can't get back in! Then, after I left they kept my 200 dollar deposit which was fine due Too a little damage from child. But then, the kept charging me 100$ 3 different times! That's 500$ what damage is worth that?!! No call and no email just continues to charge my card until I called and had to change cause they wouldn't stop until it was declined. Do not stay here. Horrible quality. Horrible people. Horrible stay.

I needed a hotel to stay in while my house was being fixed. I tried one hotel, all bad cuz of roaches and shady things, 2nd hotel had the same issues. The Clarion was where my kids and I stayed for 2 weeks. Employees were great, rooms were clean and had good amount of space. They also had security going around at night.

BEWARE! Worst hotel ever! Believe the bad reviews! All true!

Clarion Hotel in Concord, CA was where employer booked my stay for 2 weeks (and was to be future stay until December. I called the evening before I was to check in and said I needed to check in around 4 am in the morning, asking if I need to pay for an additional day. I was told that would not be be necessary, as there were rooms available. When I arrived the person working said that I had to pay for an additional day, which was fine, but, he charged me $147 for the partial day and a $200 deposit. I asked for AAA discount, but did not receive that, or allow me to boook on my app ( only $97)because the night had already ended. I get to the room which is dirty, has trash under the bed and on top of tv cabinet, tables and furniture dusty and dirty, the worst condition possible. The bathroom was filthy, I did not even use the beds or shower, I went to work and came back and requested a bottom floor room, with a queen bed (the room my work book and paid) and I was told they needed my credit card for another $200 deposit. I informed them that it was paid for by my employer, However, they still wanted to charge me another $200 deposit. Somehow, they decided they could transfer my already paid deposit to the new 2 week stay. ( it’s worth staring my fellow employees did not have to pay a $200 deposit using their own personal credit cards) . So, I decide just to go get dinner and I get a call from the hotel stating that I will need to come pay the additional $200 deposit because they are keeping my initial $200 deposit because the sheets have a stain on them that is body fluid and will not be able to be removed. I told them to keep the sheet as I would be back there in 10 minutes. They said they wouldn’t keep it to show me, but instead had a picture. When I returned to the hotel they were at my room, it appeared they exited my room, but when they saw me they turned and knocked on the door. This was confusing because they knew I was not at the hotel and en route back there. They refused to show me any proof of any stain, even though I did not use the bed. Then informed me if I didn’t give them another $200, I would have to leave the hotel. I then had to call my employer and explain the nonsense that was happening and have them book me into a different hotel. Another thing is when I go to hotels for long stays for work like this I actually bring my own sheets and bedding, which makes this whole ordeal outrageous. Now, I have no choice but to sue the hotel, report them to the health department, hotel association, attorney general, and consumer protection agency. This property needs to be shut down! It’s not suitable for or acceptable for anyone to stay, much less Covid -19 standards.not to mention the deplorable behavior conducted by the inept staff!! Negative stars!!!
