Beautiful base for visiting Chania and surrounding area

We stayed here for 4 nights while on a road trip around Crete and this was our base for visiting Chania and the surrounding area. We were very happy with our decision to stay out of town as there is easy access to Chania by bus and this area has a good selection of restaurants and shops. The studio apartment we stayed in was huge and immaculate. The bathroom was a huge modern wetroom and everything in the apartment was great quality. We had breakfast included in the booking and this was also fantastic. I even had to down size after a couple of days as the selection served was too big! Breakfast was delivered to our room as the weather was a bit overcast during our stay. However this suited us as we had a nice dining area in the apartment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool area and plenty of onsite parking. Location is on the main strip of Kato Daratso but it was not noisy. It's a short walk to the nearest beach and we tried 3 restaurants that were virtually on the doorstep and all were good. We had a car so didn't stay in the area during the day but we found it was an excellent location and base for Chania.

My family and I spent 2 weeks in Elizabeth Suites in the summer of 2022 in the Dream Suite. Everything from the beginning to finish of our holiday was great. We did not want to leave. The apartment was specious, modern and well equipped for a long stay. Serviced on daily basis. The pool was nice and quiet. The beach, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fresh and tasty. Epas and the girls were superb. Always friendly and helpful providing exceptional greek hospitality, guidance and information. We had an excellent holiday staying at the Elizabeth Suites. The hotel was immaculate, the staff both Epas the manager, and the lady who cleaned our room were really helpful and enthusiastic. We had a large apartment, which was new, smart and comfortable, with a balcony view to the sea. We self-catered and the fridge and kitchen area were good for our needs. The hotel is a short walk down to the sandy beach, other little sandy bays are nearby and there is good snorkelling. The hotel pool was large and we usually had it to ourselves, however it would be too deep for younger children. There are several excellent traditional restaurants nearby, although for bars you need to take the short bus ride to Chania - The old town there is wonderful for a night out. All in all a lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth Suites. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. We particularly enjoyed the sea view, the pleasant atmosphere and the yummy breakfast every morning.

Exceptional hospitality and wonderful stay

My family and i have been to crete a couple of times and while we found everyone to be generally hospitable, our stay at Elisabeth suites was particularly exceptional in this regard. The hosts made us feel comfortable throughout our stay and had personable, warm interactions as though old friends or family which made it thay much more special. The accommodations were great and despite one review i read on here, we used the kitchen multiple times to cook, and found it very convenient when not wanting to go out/too tired. The location is pretty ideal around numerous food establishments and decent beaches, as well as very close to downtown center without being in the thick of crowds and traffic, while accessible. Again wanted to give a shout out to the hosts and staff for being always attentive and accommodating. Thank you Epas and family!
