The hotel was in a great location. It was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was good. We enjoyed our stay here. There is not a nightly cost for parking which is an added bonus.

Easy access to downtown and walking paths

Kudos to management to allow the pool to be open at 6 am. I love to swim but many hotels don't open the pool until 9 am or later. At 6 am I can get a swim in before going off and doing things. The pool was decorated nicer than normal and had interesting non-slip tile which was soft on the feet. They have some surface parking which is why we chose that hotel. I could still walk the 1.4 miles into the convention center for my meeting. The neighborhood was mostly apartments and nice with some restaurants within walking distance. You are also close to the bike paths along the river so you can get plenty of exercise. Place was clean and staff were nice as well.

Good budget hotel in Highlands

Friendly helpful staff. Clean room. Good Hampton Inn experience. On a corner with a few hotels. We chose king suite 5th floor and it still had some noise from pipes, etc. Might try 4th floor next time if we return. No elevator noise at all. Great location near Highlands. Get a room that doesn’t face busy streets. Lobby is very scented for those who look for unscented. But the hallways and room were not scented.

The Best of Stays in Denver

I am a single traveler and I recently stayed in the Hampton Inn & Suites on Speer Boulevard. I was completely impressed from the moment I checked in. "Susan" checked me in with a smile and pleasant conversation. In fact, for all the days I stayed at this hotel, I observed her speaking to every guest and also young children. She was so helpful, cheerful and accommodating. Hilton should hire her to train - she is excellent. I enjoyed the pool and whirlpool area, which was quite pristine with plenty of towels (Towels are a thing with me). The breakfast was good, but the gentleman doing the breakfast was most helpful. I loved the lemonade and other beverages offered 24/7. My room was immaculate (with plenty of towels :), the bed was quite comfortable and very safe. I did not have a vehicle on this trip and will say that parking seems to be tight for this property. (My son, who lives in Denver said that Denver is now the "Number 1 car jacking place in the U.S. so beware). I have stayed at other hotels in Denver, but this one (a new one) is very clean. I should mention there are also free laundry facilities for guests as well as a business center. I was NOT disappointed in any aspect of this hotel - but Susan made it a stellar experience.

My #1 priority is always cleanliness and this hotel was clean. Our room was spacious and clean. The parking lot by the hotel isn't very big but there is an overflow lot nearby. The breakfast was your average post Covid breakfast. The people working breakfast kept the food fresh and hot and the breakfast area clean. The location wasn't walkable to much that I could see but very easy to drive to other places for food. It's in a crowded area but we didn't notice any problems with noise. It's an ok hotel if you are in the area.
