Very nice stopover on our tour

We chose this hotel for its location, easy to get to from highway but not too close to city. Rooms were reasonably roomy on ground floor. Room to park car. Breakfast was good. We ate dinner here and while food was good, meal options were limited due to small size of kitchen. Service was excellent. We stayed 2 nights, went to Prague via train for 1 night and then returned for a 3rd night. We visited the old town of Dresden to see what reparations had been done following the bombing in WW2. It is beautiful. From our hotel took a short bus ride and then a short commuter train ride.

The hotel and staff are friendly and welcoming. The small bar and the large breakfast room are prefect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and the breakfast room and variety of food are a great start for the day. The bus and tram connection are very easy to figure out and very convinient.

The hotel is a bit away from the city center but that was fine with us. We only spent 2 nights there. The room was clean. But what I found very bad is the unbelievably soft bed, because of extra soft mattress on the top, I could not sleep well. At breakfast there were some problems. The staff needed 15-30 minutes to refill the food when something was unavailable, which was a bit clumsy, especially because the breakfast room is very small, so there was crowd more than usual and you would have to share the tables anyway.

I spent here with my family one night. Hotel is located not far away from old town. Rooms were clean, but quite small. Breakfast was delicious but waiter service could not clean up the tables on time for new guests. Price very high comparing price we paid in Berlin in 4 stars hotel, but maybe it was due to coming Christmas period.

The lady who made our check-in was not friendly at all, it seems that she didn't want to work and she wanted to charge us twice as she didn't check that we already paid before arrival. The lady who made our check-out never said hello in the morning. There was no wifi at all during our stay. The lady who made our check-in let us go to our room without advising us the codes to access the wifi so we had to go down to the reception desk. Then once in the room, it was impossible to access the internet so the same lady called her facility manager who said it should be solved by the next day but it never worked. The room was not cleaned properly, we could see hairs in the bathroom on the floor. The room was dark and the pillows were not comfortable at all. Finally we could hear our neighbours talking. We are not the kind of guests to complain but this time we consider it important to inform other guests to choose this hotel. Avoid it!
