Came here for a family break, hotel is to a great standard, staff are super friendly and efficient and found the rooms to be of high quality as were the amenities and decor. Hotel is also conveniently placed for the station, shopping and markets. Breakfast services was super busy and not the greatest experience due to the volume of people looking to have breakfast at the same time, we ended up outside the breakfast room sitting at tables All round a fantastic hotel and would stay again without doubt and highly recommend

This hotel is the perfect location for the Christmas markets. A short taxi ride from the airport and a short stroll to the main shopping area and markets. It was my first trip to Germany and I plan to make it an annual event and stay in this hotel. The room was very comfortable spotless and spacious. Breakfast was of a very high standard with a wide selection to suit every diet. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here either for business or leisure. Great location and value for money.

An amazing stay

This hotel was such a warm welcoming place to stay. Food was lovely. Best steak sandwich anywhere. Breakfast was a feast. It set us up for a great day out exploring the local markets all within a few minutes walk. The staff were warm and friendly and very professional. So glad we picked this place. Found out while we were here it’s become the Clayton.we know and trust this group, we will be back.

Wo ist die Heizung?

Wir wurden zunächst in ein Zimmer einquartiert, in welchem die Heizung (Klimaanlage) nicht funktionierte. Dies musste dem Personal bekannt gewesen sein, denn in dem Zimmer befand sich ein mobiles elektrisches Heizgerät. Wir haben daraufhin das Zimmer getauscht. Im neuen Zimmer die gleiche Situation (defekte Heizung + mobils Heizgerät). Da wir keine Lust auf einen weiteren Zimmertausch hatten, haben wir uns mit den zwei Heizgeräten aus dem "alten" und dem aktuellen Zimmer beholfen. Als wir die Situation am nächsten Morgen beim Check-out geschildert haben, erfolgte keine Entschuldigung, sondern lediglich die lapidare Antwort "Wir notieren uns das". Es ist aus meiner Sicht eine Frechheit, in einem 4-Sterne Hotel (Übernachtung ohne Frühstück € 180) vorsätzlich Zimmer, bei denen wesentliche technische Einrichtungen defekt sind, zu vergeben.

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Bei unserem Aufenthalt hieß das Hotel noch Nikko. Wir waren hier zu einer Konferenz. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind geräumig. Die Konferenzräume waren ebenfalls hervorragend. Etwas kurios sind die Aufzüge mit Vorauswahl, an die man sich erst einmal gewöhnen muß. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist hervorragend und das Frühstück war extrem reichhaltig. Durch die Lage nahe dem Bahnhof ist das Hotel sehr gut erreichbar. Insgesamt für Aufenthalte in Düsseldorf zu empfehlen.
