This hotel is a catfish.

This place is over priced and looks nothing like the photos used to advertise it. The interior stinks like cigarette smoke and dirty carpet. The rooms are rundown and unclean. The windows in our room were broken (one was open and couldn’t be closed and the other couldn’t be locked), the light fixtures are missing, electrical wires hang out the walls, tv remote is held together by duct tape, damaged pictures hang on the walls, toilet walls are dirty, a previous guests clothes were still in the cupboard and some of the power points don’t work. Staff were friendly and the location is good…that’s about it…definitely not worth $500 fora twin room. A distrusting waste of money.

What an unprofessional, discourteous and unhelpful establishment. They cancelled our booking, then rudely referred us to Booking.com, even though the hotel had cancelled the booking. The receptionist was increasingly rude on each and every one of my 3 calls. Booking.com proved to be no better. Never stay here. Rude, crude and shrill in tone. The receptionist should be sacked.

Welcome to the comfort inn, here you can easily access drugs and prostitutes from the very comfort of the car park! Walk through and smell the amazing stench of smoke, drugs and BO. Room looks okay at first until you have a proper walk around, we were so lucky to find a lovely white powder substance as soon as we opened the door for the cupboard, plenty of dust and sticky residue, bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since covid hit. If that tickles your fancy then this is the place for you!

This is one of the worst hotels i’ve ever stayed in. When we got there the hallways and elevator smelled musty and disgusting, and sketchy looking people are around everywhere. At some points it reeked of marijuana and in the cupboard there was a sketchy white powder, which we presumed to be a drug of some sort. The room we stayed in wasn’t all that clean, with dust everywhere and marks on the shower door. I do also believe this place is an undercover brothel, as multiple sketchy characters we saw looked like prostitutes. Please avoid this place at all costs.

Good Location But Just The Basics

Visited here during the Australian Open. Good location for easy walk/tram access to Bourke St Mall, MCG, and Rod Laver Arena. Room was clean but very basic. No face washers, hand towels, or hairdryer. Cafe downstairs has been downgraded from breakfasts to just coffee, but was being used as a storage area while we were there. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to sitting in the alfresco area with a cappuccino. Our friends were joining us, however, the hotel got scammed and ended up cancelling their room and refunding their fee to the scammers! Reception could’ve handled it better, but the room was booked through Qantas and they ended up sorting it out quickly. Unfortunately our friends had to relocate to another hotel.
