Check in was smooth, friendly service. Room was very clean. We stayed 2 nights, one night it was fairly quiet, except for strange knocking at our door(?)/The neighbors door(?) numerous times through the night, the 2nd night, no door knocking but it was very loud outside. The bed was comfortable. We liked the shower adjustment options. The kitchen counters closed far too loudly/harshly. It was convenient to have a good size refrigerator, plates/cups/dishwasher etc. This property did not use massive amounts of scent like other Marriott properties and we appreciated that very much.

Way better Marriott options. As a Titanium Elite lifetime member this was the worst property I’ve ever stayed. Was told I was in a renovated room but it was old and stuffy and was likely once a smoking room. They no longer have king beds, only queens. Kitchen was poorly equipped and the breakfast they offered was terrible! Courtyard across the way is a much better option for the area.

This Residence Inn is on what is almost a campus of hotels, maybe five? that are nicely spaced out by grass. I think this quite a relaxing and visually pleasing environment for roadside hotels. As with previous experiences with Residence Inns, we were pleased by the decor and cleanliness of our suite. This Residence Inn is like a little village; not a midrise which adds a homey touch. Good hot breakfast. Coffee is available from 7 am on

Good enough for the area

It's a decent hotel for the area and the are a ton of low-middle scale properties within a 1/2 mile radius to this one. The staff here is friendly and while I didn't interact with housekeeping, front desk was good. There was no mention of my Marriott status or upgrade given even though the hotel was empty but that's Bonvoy. I don't have loyalty to Marriott anymore because of this... but that's a different issue. The rooms are clean and look renovated. The bathroom though is old and musty. Lot of space in the room and the kitchen area should be great for families traveling in the area. Speaking of area, there is NOTHING nearby. A car is a must. You can walk to Ruby Tuesday (yes very random) and thats really it. The hotel design is also atypical with several small buildings making up the property. This is good if you like privacy but each building is open to anyone walking in. I'm NOT claiming the area is dangerous or anything of that sort. I was just surprised at how old the buildings are and this style of property. Overall, it's nice enough for a budget property and the people are friendly. No real complaints from me.

Great modification to the pandemic that paralyzed the world from traveling. Thank you for a great accommodating staff, they all made us (my family) feel safe and welcomed. I would highly recommend this Residence Inn if you happen to be visiting Syracuse. It was a very comfortable first post Covid family travel for us. God bless us all.
