We had to come to El Paso on family emergency parents are sick, and when checked in to hotel we were told there will be no breakfast,no room service,no pool basically just a bed to sleep in. The rates should be way lower than the 75.00 a night we paid for.
The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, when checking in I was traveling with my 90 year old grandma, we asked to have room next to each other and to one of the rooms have a bathtub. The women gave us a room on the first floor and a room on the 3rd. When we asked about having rooms together she Ignored us. the hotel was clean for the most part. There was poop stains in the toilet when I checked in. The next day when I came back to the room, there was hair on the floor of the bathroom. We got into a argument with the hotel staff in they said we had the no service card on the door. We never put the card on the door. When we called for service they said we can’t get any because we had the card up. Then they hung up on me. They didn’t ask if we needed any shampoo or fresh towels or anything. We did need both. The front desk wasn’t to helpful. Later on we went to the front desk at 2AM to request shampoo. The guy said that he had to come to my room to replace the bottle. I am not letting some strange man into my room at 2AM. The pillows seems to be warned out. I was on the 3rd floor, you can head the people that kept walking around above me in the room. You can also hear the people in the hallway and the elevator coming up and down. And I was a few rooms away from the elevator. The room had a nice office chair and it’s in a great location with a bunch of restaurant around it.
Good choice for a 1 nighter
We stayed here for one night when visiting Carlsbad Caverns, so we could head to the airport next day. It is a good location to do that as well as for dining options. The property is average Fairfield Inn, but, the staff were friendly. It was hard to believe that they did not have a bottle opener in the front desk. Had to use the nail clipper to open a beer bottle in the room!! The breakfast looked unappetizing, so, decided to head out to the Corner Bakery next door - expensive alternative - raised our room rate by 20%!
Very disappointed with our stay. We stayed at this hotel for three nights and our room was not cleaned once! The beds remained unmade, floors were not swept. A few clean towels were brought in, and trash emptied but that is it! After the first day I requested that the room be cleaned and beds made, but still didn't happen. We won't be staying at the hotel again.
Very close to airport. Usual Marriott great service. Super clean hotel. Nice large rooms. Within walking distance of restaurants both fast food and sit down. Plenty of parking. Great place to stay before early morning flight out of ELP.
