WARNING - Hotel does not honor rate you book
Avaliou em 9 de Outubro de 2021
I am leaving this review as a WARNING to anyone that may try to book this hotel and expects the hotel to honor the rate that you reserved, you may be in for a very unpleasant surprise. Since I knew superbowl was in February, I decided to make a reservation well in advanced in order to get a hotel near the stadium for a decent price. I am a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I always book through Marriott.com to ensure the best rate. About a month after making the reservation, the hotel must have realized the superbowl was upcoming and decided to change the rate to a special event rate after I was already confirmed. I had no idea this was possible, or even legal, but they called me to let me know that THEY (not me) made a mistake on the rate and would be increasing it by nearly 10Xs from $159 a night, to $1800 a night, but since it was their error they will give me 20% off and only charge me $1440. I was understandably appalled and asked for a manager to call and explain how this is possible. Instead of calling, they sent me an extremely condescending email (see attached) explaining that while it was their human error, they reserve the rights to change the rate at any time for any reason, and that was the final decision made by marriott executive leadership. I would consider booking any other hotel so you don't get the bait and switch from this property.
Flora Rooftop Restaurant at AC Hotel is a real treat

njoyed a lovely, mid-week date night with my husband. Started with an EAG Martini with gin that had a nice touch of fresh lemon. My husband ordered a non-alcoholic beer but they do not stock it so we think that is a big miss. We devoured the rosemary focaccia with balsamic and olive oil dipping sauce and the very colorful and beautifully presented hummus with feta and red pepper dip, fresh crudité and topped with fresh herbs. I absolutely loved the Mediterranean olives with pickled quail eggs, artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes. The best part was that the olives were pitted. First time to have ordered olives that came pitted. So nice not to have to deal with pits. I enjoyed the fattoush salad and think that adding the shrimp (or another protein) is a definite must. My husband who usually does not order duck had the Duck Banh Mi and thought it was very tasty. Ambience is fantastic with city views and herb garden surrounding the seating area. Nice option with different seating arrangements (low tables, high tops, cushioned seats). Fresh herbs straight from their garden were used to make every dish beautiful and flavorful. Service was friendly and appropriately attentive. Small menu but there is something for everyone. We look forward to going back!
New hotel, excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Trained personnel and very polite team. New hotel, excellent higiene in all areas. The young fellows in charge of parking/bellmen are the highlight of the hotel and an Italian gentleman in the front desk. I am sorry for the stereotype, but I asked for the guy nationality. The hotel is in a very nice area.
