This hotel is clean, the lobby is nice and the staff is "just ok". After waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes for a room, they began checking in people before us and others that were waiting. When we booked this 2-star hotel we still expected the most basic room amenities and for $200.00 a night, they fell short, and we were disappointed. We won't book Tru again for the following reasons. No closet, no dresser, no ice bucket or paper cups, no coffee maker and no toiletries such as lotion or make up wipe. This is all fine EXCEPT, the website does not inform you of this. We felt this was a very deceptive practice. For the price, we could have stayed at the Marriott or another competitor and would have received these amenities. Imagine having to compensate by putting ice in your cooler and having to dig your tumblers out of the car trunk to have something to drink from. We have never experienced this before.

We traveled to Dallas for an unexpected family death. The staff was accommodating and rooms were clean. Unfortunately all 5 family members began to suffer from cough, sinus and chest congestion after a few days causing us to leave earlier than anticipated. I did notify front desk upon checkout to advise housekeeping to don mask, gloves prior to entering rooms for terminal cleaning as all 5 guest acquired upper respiratory infections. Thankfully we were all tested negative for COVID upon arrival to our destination.

Reviews I read complained about the interstate next to it (grow up), said their bed wasn't made perfect, (you must have messed it up yourself), or any other nitpick thing a "Karen" could find...this hotel was great. Clean, QUIET, and makes you feel as comfortable as possible while being away from home. HIGHLY recommend and will book here again! No doubt. 🤝

Everything depends upon timely shuttle transportation to/from DFW. This facility provided quality service. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and smelled refreshing! Like lavender and orangey aroma. Most definitely made a welcoming impact upon coming into my room. Thank you!

We had an excellent stay, and I did not want to leave. It was the perfect spot to get away from it all. Almost 100% of front desk staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Custodial staff was super accommodating. The hotel was clean, fun-spirited and exactly the right place for us.
