Good value and nice location. Close to shopping mall and bus stops to get to and from town or train station. Reception staff were courteous and helpful. Top notch. However, maintenance was lacking: drain plug was missing from sink, scratched paint on bathroom door and desk chair and rubber seals on shower door closures were loose/floppy. Breakfast was just ok, but nothing special. Bicycle rental for 3 Euros per day was a great bargain also. Just a short ride to the city center, castle and museums.

We are a retired couple traveling through Italy on bicycles. We have stayed at campgrounds, B&Bs, hostels and hotels. This has been our favorite place so far. The room seems to be a standard hotel room, but what made it different is the attention to detail, the staff and their sincere wish to make our stay perfect for us. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. There were amenities in the lobby, including an ice machine so we could make our own drinks, a delightful coffee machine and chilled beer and sodas. It is located conveniently to grocery shopping, great restaurants and just a few kilometers from the city center. The windows are high quality and filtered outdoor noise. The bathroom was excellent. But the staff… they were extraordinary! Whoever runs this place chooses the right people to work here and makes it really easy and convenient for the guests. You will NOT be disappointed!

we were there for a night only and asked the reception about pizza restaurant and he recommended some. The day after he came to us asking which restaurant we went to and showed interest. I think this shows interest in guest, he wanted to help and we got it. The room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. I slept very well. The breakfast was okay, nothing special, but again the staff was friendly and helpful and gave you what you asked for. Minus was: guests were partying and you could hear them, the door to the shower cabin needs to be fixed All in all, pretty good for a BB

Good value but a bit out of town

You can't argue that B&B Hotel Ferrara is good value for money. Its a simple hotel without the frills. It's clean and comfortable. Staff paid great attention to be covid safe, however, it is a shame that other guests were walking around without masks or sanitising hands before using the breakfast buffet. We paid for breakfast on one day and didn't think it was good value. Location is on the outside of Ferrara so great if you have a car and want to explore the area but if you want to walk into town its a fair way.

Very nice location, great rooms with stylish interior design. The whole house is decorated with art. A fantastic breakfast in the garden, many homemade cakes... good and attentive service. When we arrived we had a very good introduction into the house facilities and about the city. We can definitely recommend this place. Very high standard.
