Hotel limpo, bem atendido e silencioso

Bom hotel. Limpo, silencioso e honesto. Localizado em uma área calma, com boa área de estacionamento. Nosso pedido de “early check-in” foi atendido sem problemas, com agilidade e profissionalismo. Os apartamentos são amplos e nota-se preocupação do hotel com detalhes, tais como qualidade da imagem dos televisores (excelente). Os apartamentos são dotados, ainda, de micro-ondas e frigobar, ficando fácil armazenar algumas coisas para o lanche da noite. O ar condicionado apresentou problema no primeiro dia e (maravilha!) a solicitação de reparo foi prontamente atendida. Estão à disposição travesseiros de diferentes densidades – ótimo poder escolher aquele com o qual mais se adapta, entretanto, notei, em alguns dias, algum descaso da camareira com o lençol que forra a cama, ou seja, a cama foi arrumada sem a preocupação de alisar o lençol que a forra. O banheiro é de bom tamanho e as toalhas, bem como os produtos de toalete (sabonetes, shampoo, condicionador e hidratante), fornecidos, são de boa qualidade. O café da manhã é bom, com uma boa variedade de produtos, entretanto, o tostador de pão (muito eficiente) dos primeiros dias, foi substituído, no fim de semana, por duas torradeiras completamente precárias, causando algum congestionamento entre os usuários que faziam questão do seu pão ou seu “bagle” tostado. Enfim, apesar da torradeira e da cama, aparentemente “arrumada às pressas”, o hotel é altamente recomendável.

Um hotel nota 10, apesar de 3 estrelas!!

Localizado em 315 Davidson Ave, Franklin Township, NJ 08873, fone: (732) 627-8483, esse hotel é bem amplo, com um estacionamento enorme e uma vista linda de árvores coloridas pelo outono. Fomos muito bem atendidas e recepcionadas. O quarto era bem amplo, confortável, impecavelmente limpo, agradável de se estar e bem decorado. O banheiro era bem grande e com uma banheira imensa e convidativa. Toalhas branquíssimas e em grande quantidade. Frigobar, tv, cafeteira, cofre, tábua de passar roupas e ferro, enfim, tudo o que vc possa precisar e com conforto. Dispõe de sistema de van que pode levar e buscar os hospedes (no caso, no The Imperia). Achei a estadia deliciosa! O café da manhã estava incluído no preço e continha uma infinidade de coisas gostosas, sempre repostas e quentes. Vale a pena conferir! Volto com certeza.

Room access, BED BUGS, and poor housekeeping, maintenance and management

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Somerset several times in 2022 and it was generally a pleasant stay. Staff was helpful and made us feel welcome and the breakfast team was attentive during the service. However, we feel that our recent stay was sub par and below the standard of a Marriott-branded hotel. During our 2 week stay, we experienced the following: 1. Frustrating card access to room - Re-entering the room was like a lottery since the card or the door sensors were erratic. It was common for us to swipe our cards for at least 5-10 minutes before calling the front desk. This happened throughout the entire stay and before long even the front desk were unable to gain access with the cards 2. Poor housekeeping and maintenance - Equipment in the room frequently stopped working or were not properly installed and sheets were dirty with stray hairs. For example, the light fixture in the bathroom of our first room was not covered, carpet and walls had food stains that were visible and smelled when the room was warm, and the air-conditioning for air circulation and heating in our first room did not work our entire 2 week stay 3. BED BUGS – My wife was bitten by bed bugs during the last week of our stay and we documented the blisters, swelling, and sores she received which required a doctor’s visit and medication when we returned home. The itchiness from the bites were terrible but what is even worse is that we had to rewash all our clothes and bugs still managed to get into our suitcases which we found when we got home so now we have to deal with bed bugs here for the first time. Combined with the anxiety, stress, and sleeping difficulties since coming home, this experience clearly is the most serious we encountered 4. Poor management and leadership – The General Manager was not helpful at all and left the other front desk team who had limited authority to handle our concerns. We had expected more interaction with the General Manager considering our experience and the potential public health issues around the bed bugs being found in the hotel rooms We hope these are addressed so that they can be avoided in future stays.

Exceeded expectations in every way. Clean, all maintenance was in order. Wayne, General Manager, was professional, friendly, helpful, polite, all of the above. Wonderful and fresh breakfast. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
