Dirty
Blood on toilet paper in my supposedly cleaned room. Went to wash my hands after almost touching it and the sink was dirty too! This place is utterly disgusting! To experience that during a pandemic was just astonishing. At a time where they should be being careful and paying attention to cleaning... I had to deal with that. Don’t stay here!!! There is a Country Inn around the corner that is clean and nice!!! Even the staff member said she would NOT stay at that Days Inn!
Worst place to stay
The manager Kendall is very disrespectful. They don’t clean anything and they leave broken glass in my bathroom tub while my girlfriend is pregnant and they didn’t want to take responsibility for the wrongdoings.
Terrible Customer Service - Horrilbe Room
Front desk guy brings new meaning to "Grumpy Old Man". He was rude from start to finish. Then had me sign a waiver for no smoking and no pets, and gave me a key to a room that was a block away that WREAKED of cigarette smoke and had pet urine stains all over the carpet. And they have the nerve in this room to put up a sign that says "No smoking room" and that I'll be charged $250 if I smoke?? I called Grumpy Old Man as soon as I checked in and told him. He was even more rude. It was surreal to say the least. Plus the wifi was out the entire night. Highly not recommended place.
Disgusting, dirty, smelled awful
This hotel was one of the grossest places I’ve ever been. We rented two rooms next to each other and one of them smelled so strongly of smoke that we had to get a new room assigned. The next room we were assigned seemed better (it didn’t smell like someone smoked a whole pack of cigs in it) until we realized there were stains all over the carpet and food and other questionable items under the beds. The shower did not work and the bathroom was not cleaned. There was food left in the fridge from previous guests. Disgusting and disappointing especially during Covid when cleanliness should be your #1 priority.
Safety was my concern - but not by another guest or Brooke the Manager. I won't recommend this place to anyone!
There was an incident with a young man at check in. He refused to wear a mask, even when I asked him kindly to do so. There was a sign on the door stating he needed His friend placed a mask on his face, but he just placed a yellow folder instead. In his frustrations, he took his hand & knocked over a hand sanitizer station. I called to the manager, Brooke. She wasn't aware of this long-term patron by her staff 6 days after the fact (though to give credit she just came back from vacation today-10/16) I only heard words that she was sorry for the incident and stated "I can't control the actions of a guest in the lobby". I am so happy I didn't bring my 6-year-old grandson with me to this trip & have him witness such poor behavior. This man was irritated because the staff locked him out of his room he had for 1 month. His conversation should have been private with the staff. I won't recommend this place to anyone! It shouldn't even use the name Days Inn or Wyndham. I have stayed in many hotels/motels and I have never seen such an action of a guest, nor that there were no police in the lobby to remove him from the premises. I asked to be in a room on the other side of the building, but I still didn't feel safe with him walking around. I saw him after I checked in, still in his hoodie with a yellow lightning bolt on the front & yellow crocs. I wasn't sure he wouldn't key my car or do something else. I feel sorry for the young employee who shouldn't have to deal with such angry guests
