Just a few things I’ve noticed. Lake view suite isn’t much of a lake view since trees block the view of the lake. I guess I can deal with it even though I’m sure I paid more for the lake view room. Upon arrival we didn’t have soap in the room. We had to grab some from the front desk. Elevators button has to be pushed really hard just to get down to the 1st floor. Nasty stuff was on our walls by our couch. Dark stains on pillows, and what looks to be urine stains on bedsheets. 🤮. I guess there isn’t housekeeping because we had to change out the sheets ourselves. (Whatever, maybe I’m just spoiled.) There was a weird smell in the first floor hallway that smelled slightly like gas. We notified the front desk. ( the room didn’t have that smell.) as far as the hallways, it is very dark. Some people may prefer that type of look, but I prefer light in my hallways. We are pretty picky with when it comes to cleanliness so we plan to cut our stay short.

I’ve stayed at this hotel about 10 times over the last 5 years. It used to be so nice and clean but since my last stay a year and a half ago the quality and cleanliness have gone downhill considerably. The staff was okay but not great. Three trips to the front desk to finally get all the items that should have been in there at check in was annoying. Towels were stained. Shower and tub were not well maintained. Water pressure was very low.

Roaches and ants, enough said

Don’t go!!! We found roaches in our room and an army of ants. Old dirty carpet that was never vacuumed the whole 10 days we were there. Hair and stains on “clean” towels. Also stains on walls and on bathroom floor that agin was not cleaned the whole time we were there. Had to ask for housekeeping service 3 times because they just never showed up. Water pressure was terrible and the water was lukewarm at best. Not sure how this place is still full of guests. Go at your own risk.

I stayed at this location last week. I enrolled in a class being taught there & it was too far of a daily commute. Sewage backing up in the bathrooms and coach roaches in the roomi!!!!!!!!!!! Terrible Mistake

Trip for Grandsons Wedding

We were at the hotel while attending our grandma's wedding in Rockwall...the hotel was beautiful, convenient, and clean!! The staff were so kind and helpful..we just loved them! They went far and beyond to make our stay special! I would certainly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone heading to the Dallas area....and on top of all that is the lake view out your window and Bass Pro Shop being right next door! Wow!
