Hotel novo! Novíssimo! Reserve agora mesmo!!!

Quando me hospedei em Maio/18, esse hotel fora inaugurado há apenas 10 dias, portanto é novíssimo! Hotel de rede americana, segue o padrão já conhecido. O quarto é bem grande, portas e janelas com grande proteção acústica & térmica, ou seja, qualquer quarto é silencioso. Fica na cidade de Gilching, a 30 minutos de trem de Munique, não se preocupe com essa distância pois você estará próximo a estações de trens. Eles disponibilizam estacionamento com um pequeno custo, e o café da manhã está incluso. Sobre o café da manhã: EXCELENTE, farto e variado. Não deixe de experimentar os vários pães alemão, sendo uma das especialidades daquele país. Muito bom! O staff foi SUPER atencioso, check-in bem rápido assim como check-out. Certamente irei ficar novamente neste hotel. Recomendo!
Do yourself a favour… don’t stay here

Awful hotel and should be ashamed to be called a Marriott. Excuse of a restaurant has four items on it and poor quality. Restaurant doesn’t open for lunch or weekend dinners!!!! When else do people stay in hotels? Staff are quite frankly rude! Front office manager was completely rude even raising her voice at me. Staff don’t want to be there, aggressive and nasty! My room tv did not work, I stayed 4 days and reported it on 3 and was told “oh - most rooms don’t work”.

Very modern and clean. Check-in fast and smooth. Room was comfortable and had all amenities needed. Breakfast well varied. The ladies at the reception were very friendly, especially the young one with long dark wavy hair (on Sunday 17 July in the morning). Overall excellent hotel and stay!
Marriott service is officially a FAILURE

Just some insight for you to be able to trust this review: 1. I don’t usually review or complaint to hotels even if there are small issues. 2. I stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels as well as resorts during my trip (high and low hotels). This hotel comes in between but I would rate it lower than anything! 3. I am a very frequent traveller and have stayed at Marriott hotels before but never gotten such an experience before. I visited this hotel and stayed for 2 nights (2-4 June). This was during my honeymoon, when we entered the hotel the staff was very rude and just abrupt (not Marriott standards). We checked-in and got to our room, as we tried to lock our room we found out that the lock is broken. We immediately informed the reception staff who said they would check it out. They checked it not that day but the next, after doing so at 2pm (when we were leaving) they said that their technician would come “maybe today or tomorrow” though we were checking out the next day. Anyways we said then do what you can and make sure no one enters our room as the lock is broken. All was fine until the next day before checking out, me and my wife were changing when 4 men in Marriott uniforms abruptly (without a knock) entered our room (where there was a do not disturb sign on the door). In anger we alerted the reception who again was very calm and said “we will look into it”. Since then they are only looking. I have no idea what they are looking into but it doesn’t take 1.5 months to speak to the general manager and reply to my complaints, messages and emails. I even tried to get to them via twitter but got the following replies… 03/07: Hello, it is our understanding that you've been in contact with the hotel GM. Please let us know the last time you received an email from them. 08/07: Hello, your case #357271762 has been escalated, and the management team is being asked to reply. 11/07: The case is still being worked on. You will be contacted shortly. Thank you for your patience. 13/07: We understand your frustration, and we truly apologize that your issue is still unresolved. We are in touch with our colleagues to try and resolve this issue as soon as possible. 15/07: We have added this comment to the file which has been escalated. You will be contacted once review is completed. Here is your Case #358905163. Anyways, I have been in contact with them and there has been no solution and just delay and delay.
Very functional but stark hotel

This was a modern, clean, and functional Courtyard hotel. If you need to stay in the area it is easy to get to from the highway and they have plenty of parking in the garage for a 15 euro charge. The staff was efficient and courteous and the clerk I worked with to check-in spoke english well. The rooms were generally quiet but I had to give the hotel 3 stars overall for a number of small items. The beds were fairly hard and the pillows were small. The room felt utilitarian - almost too stark and clinical. Not a lot of warmth - which is fine for a business trip but was glad we were only there for a night. The bathroom is functional and like the room, kind of felt off and crowded for two people. You can't bring a car close to the actual entrance so if it's raining you have to deal with getting a lot of bags across the plaza in front. There are stairs/ramps and the baggage carts they have are more the airport type so don't hold a lot of items. The parking garage is across the street so again, a little bit of a walk that is uncomfortable in the rain. Perfectly fine hotel but focused on function.
