Below average hotel
The staff tried to do everything they could, but the hotel is pretty poor, which is reflected in their price. The rooms are basic, sadly my loo didn’t work, but I am sure that was a one off. The hotel is also not in a good area of Naples.
Clean hotel, awful area, very basic
This IS NOT A TOURIST FRIENDLY AREA. Hotel is very outdated but clean. Our Apartment was near to the reception and all you can hear was the TV from the reception! and EVERY morning at just before 7am staff I presume would walk down the corridor shouting and we presume getting ready for the very basic breakfast. The pool - where do I begin lovely area, BUT you have to walk out of the hotel turn left into a disused car park, you would need to walk over a chain, open a metal gate! the pool area has not seen any human I think for many years! no staff, no bar, no chairs, disused office/rooms. Area was not safe to go out after dark. Very intimidating. The beach isn't too far away, walk is about 30minutes, but you have to walk down a very quiet road to get there - We had to find this out ourselves. There is rubbish everywhere and nothing to do. Shops are not always open. This was meant to be our Honeymoon/1st year anniversary and I would not want anyone else to feel that they would waste time or money - it wasn't worth the time off work or the money.
Honest review of the hotel
We spent 9 nights here at the end of July.To help you i will say it as it is. The Hotel is 3 star but it is a very good 3 star. The rooms are cleaned every day to a great standard. The breakfast is a continental type but plenty of .Air con worked a treat. There is a small kitchen in the room with a fridgefreezer ,a hob ,a microwave plates and cutlery, dishes ,pans etc .Theres a Supermarket 5 mins down the road called Deco ,its got all you need. The hotel sorted our Transfer to and from the airport, just get in touch and they will sort it,60 euros each way.Ask Bruno on reception and he will help you with any trips or even to the beach. If you come in the summer months the pool at the back of the hotel is amazing , loads of loungers, a bar and kept clean. It made my holiday. If your coming to visit loads of places rent a car If like me you come to chill round the pool this place is great and a great price. Many thanks Bruno and crew.
Much to far out of Naples
Hotel itself ok for 3* but swimming pool belonged to hotel next door which was closed down. Taxi from airport cost 300 Euros. Not a very nice area at all, no where nice to eat or drink. Prostitutes around and gangs of lads which made it a bit scary. We moved hotels into Naples itself after two nights!
Not too bad hotel / awful area!! Don't go!
The hotel staff are obviously trying their best but this IS NOT A TOURIST FRIENDLY AREA. The hotel is clean (if outdated) and passable. The pool is nice but belongs to a disused hotel next door. It wasn't a safe enough area to go out after dark and there were clearly prostitutes working up the road. The beach isn't too far away but we were accosted when walking down the quiet road to get there. There is rubbish everywhere and nothing to do. On Sunday we resorted to ordering pizza in the hotel as everything in walking distance was closed. I wouldn't want anyone else to feel that they had wasted their holiday as I do - it wasn't worth the time off work or the money. Also - the transfer from the airport was awful - the driver was clearly at 120 mph and texting. We got public transport back to the airport but it took hours - local bus, train, airport bus.
