Exceeded our expectations - by far!

This stay completely exceeded our expectations! The hosts were super friendly, and because of their considerate and friendly advice we ended up with some fantastic day trips we would never be able to figure out otherwise (One of them was a 4 hour hike to the Brocken mountain peak and back, for which the owner, Mr. Sander, told us of the perfect starting point at a "secret" parking space. The apartments (we rented both of them, one for us as parents, and the other for our adult son and daughter) were super clean and very cozy! The garden is full of flowers, and you can sit on the patio and enjoy the sun.

We had an e-mail before we arrived to say that the owners would be away and given a number to ring 20 minutes before arrival. We followed the sat nav and were quite surprised to end up in a housing estate. The house was tucked away in a corner and the owner's friends were there waiting for us. We do not speak German and the friends spoke very little English but between us we managed to check in and we followed the friends by car to show us the route into town and they even stopped on the way back to point out the local supermarket. The apartment was fantastic with everything you could need, even a complimentary bottle of wine.We had the ground floor and use of the garden complete with table, chairs and sunbeds. It was a 2 mile walk into Goslar which is a beautiful town.

Für eine Dienstreise nach Goslar übernachtete ich zwei Nächte im Haus Kollwitzweg. Um den Zeitpunkt der Anreise auszumachen, hatte ich vorher angerufen und traf dann so gegen 19:00 Uhr ein. Nach sehr freundlichem Empfang und Einweisung konnte ich die Ferienwohnung im Erdgeschoß in Beschlag nehmen. Die Wohnung war top sauber und reichlich ausgestattet: 2 Terrassen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Herd, Senseo-Pad-Maschine mit ausreichend Kaffeepads, 2 Fernseher, ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten/Schränke, separate Dusche/WC und schnelles WLAN. Das Haus liegt in sehr guter, ruhiger Villengegend und bietet ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Top für jede Art von Aufenthalt, egal ob Kurztrip oder längerer Urlaub zur Erkundung des Harzes!!!

Lage im Ortsteil Ohlhof. Wohnhaus mit zwei Gästeappartements, die super ausgestattet sind. Küche mit Herd, Backofen, Spülmaschine, Kühlschrank, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Kaffeepad- und normaler Kaffeefiltermaschine. Spülmittel, -Tabs, Kaffeepads, Tee etc. waren vorhanden. 2 Fernseher im Wohnbereich und Schlafzimmer. Zwei möblierte Balkone im OG bzw. zwei Terrassen im EG. Großes Bad mit Dusche. Ausreichend Handtücher. Fußbodenheizung. Alles war sehr sauber. Bäcker, Einkaufszentrum (zur Zeit im Wiederaufbau) und italienisches Restaurant sind in der Nähe (5 Min. Fußweg). Wir wurden durch den Vermieter Herrn Sander sehr freundlich empfangen, er hat uns die Wohnung präsentiert und uns mit Informationen zu Goslar versorgt. Das Zentrum liegt 3,5 km entfernt und ist fußläufig einfach zu erreichen. Zur Begrüßung gab es je eine Flasche Mineralwasser, Rotwein und Schokolade. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Peccato doverci stare solo una notte! I proprietari sono persone squisite, il posto davvero carino, con un giardino molto curato (come il resto della casa). L appartamento era molto pulito, con una bottiglia di vino e una di acqua ad accoglierci; sembra davvero di stare in casa propria dato che i proprietari hanno lasciato i filtri del caffè, dei libri e un phon per noi. Per un appartamento da tre persone abbiamo speso 85 euro; lo consiglierei a chiunque.
