Hotel bem localizado, com vistas excelentes e pequeno almoço fantástico. Quartos interiores pouco insonorizados e sem vistas. Fiquei algo desiludido com o barulho dos aspiradores pela manhã. Quarto bem equipado e dimensionado. Poucas tomadas disponiveis para ligar equipamentos electricos.

We have just returned from a week at this hotel and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised. The refurbished rooms are lovely and the cleaners are fantastic. The whole hotel is absolutely spotless, and in very good condition. My only issue with the room is that we had a adjoining door (which was obviously locked) but we could hear quite a lot of noise from the other room. The pool area is lovely and clean, with plenty of extremely comfortable sun beds around. It’s also lovely to hear Sparky donkey in the background! My only criticism of the hotel is the food. It was very basic and repetitive. It didn’t suit our tastes at all but it was enough to keep us from being hungry. One other point to consider is the hill up to the hotel. It’s a bit steep but I managed it and I’m not very fit, you just need to keep in mind that it’s quite dark so may be a bit dangerous at night. Personally, we found Gouvia to be a bit run down but it’s only to be expected after the pandemic. Overall, the hotel is lovely and definitely worth a trip.
Clean rooms, average food

So we stayed in the superior rooms "with sea side view" Pros: - Very clean rooms, we appreciated that the cleaning service was made daily. So 5 stars for that. - Nice pool and sunbeds - Nice garden, perfect to chill in the evenings - The staff was polite with an exception that i will mention below - A big plus would be for the barman. He is nice and fun, a storyteller, oriented to customer service Cons: - "Sea view" - The sea is very far and in fact you can' t really see it because of the surounding buildings. - We have really missed a drawer in our rooms. It was difficult to keep our clothes in our bags. -The food was preety much the same, do not expect a perfect taste. Let's say the food was "eatable", decent. One big minus here: 2-3 mornings they served expired butter. Told them twice...no change. - The old man that was serving us drinks at dinner. He is kind of tired of doing this, sometimes even rude with an ugly visage. Overall experience was good, we would probably recommend the hotel for the pros.
Peaceful, fantastic service and beautiful views!

This hotel proved a great choice for our family. Even from the point of arrival when we presumed we'd missed dinner, we were greeted with smiles and told to dump our bags and go through to get dinner and check in after! What a nice surprise after a day of travelling! Extra bonus was they had their greek night too so we were treated to that whilst eating. All the staff were polite, helpful, friendly. Special mention to Spiros, big smiles at dinner! And of course Vasilli who my girls loved, but loved his mojitos even more!! But everyone from reception, waitresses, cleaners were really fantastic. The place feels traditional which is what I wanted, not a bland contemporary building which could be anywhere. Lots of cool marble and greek decoration. A pool table in the inside bar might be a nice addition to keep entertained out of the midday sun. We had 1 renovated room, 1 which wasn't. Obviously the renovated one looked absolutely great, bathroom was excellent and it all looked very stylish. But my girls were also perfectly happy in their room too, no complaints apart from a slightly erratic shower temperature! The food was also extremely good, great assortment, replenished regularly. Could be slightly hotter but that's just me, I like my food super hot! Pool area was also perfect, never a hassle getting a sun bed. We all had great fun using it. Everywhere was kept immaculate, must be done in the dead of night, but always looked so clean and tidy! Unfortunately we weren't great fans of Gouvia itself, I think maybe it might grow on you eventually but it was scruffy and a bit smelly. However Greece has had a tough time so it's not overly surprising that some parts look a bit neglected. The main road obviously isn't attractive, but that's the infrastructure. Makes for getting buses easy which is a bonus! We did do that 3 times and it was fairly straightforward, although waiting in the blazing heat wasn't a highlight! Gouvia might put us off returning to the hotel, however if your top priority is the hotel itself then you cannot go wrong with Paradise. It really ticks all the boxes and I really wish the owners and staff all the very best for the future after what must have been an awful couple of years. The lady owner(Amanda?) is extremely professional, and you just know she has everything under control, along with her husband and son. Thank you for having us, we had a wonderful time. (English breakfast tea bags would be the cherry on the cake!🤭), I realise I must be slightly addicted!

Me and my partner have stayed here last week and we were beyond satisfied with everything this place has to offer. The service, food and location was perfect for us. Food always fresh and tasty and even the mint for my mojito was taken straight from the garden ! We have really enjoyed our time at Paradise Hotel and if we do go back to Corfu, for sure it will be one to go back to. Thank you to all the staff there, you guys are doing amazing job always with a smile on the face :)
