The hotel is beautifully located just by the beach and surrounded by beautiful nature. Unfortunately none of the staff can speak English. At least not the staff we met. We had a pretty bad experience in the restaurant where our booking was supposed to include a four course dinner, but instead we got a buffet which was ok, but not more than that. Also, there were several spiders in our bed, the check out was at 11 o’clock and the cleaning staff opened the door even if we had put the do not disturb sign on the door just as my husband came out of the shower. Even though we talked to the staff about all of these things, we were not offered any compensation whatsoever. The pool was nice though.

A fine weekend at the sea

This hotel occupies a great location on a very nice part of the Baltic Sea. The pool is fine; rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the hotel offers good service and accommodating staff. Bicycles and recreational options are available, and the 'busy' area with restaurants and shops is just a short walk away.

Not well suited for international travellers

The hotel is beautifully situated near the beach and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately most of the staff doesn't speak any English - a few made an effort, but most just shook their heads and shrugged (one waiter seemed to avoid us). The restaurant was a big dissapointment. In general the food was bland and not prepared well. Our first meal was supposed to be a four course meal as part of a weekend trip-deal. It turned out to be a buffet ("equivalent to four courses").

We went there for 2 days and 1 night, the location is good, it is quite close to the seaside and there is a great wooden bridge on the sea.Nice breakfast with friendly service. On the first day we arrived we wanted to check their beauty service like skin peeling, we didn't order it cause we thought maybe we won't have time but we asked the tele no. of it. The next morning which was a Sunday at 9 am there was a loud phone call waking us up just by pushing us that if we want to have the peeling or not, and if we want then we need to get ready and they only have time for us from 9:30am-10:30am, what a surprise by waking your customer up on Sunny morning at 9am especially your customer hasn't order the service yet. Also the checking out time is 11am which is odd cause usually it is 12pm and some good hotels even can offer a late checking out.

Beautiful setting

We stayed at IFA hotel Graal-Müritz as part of a winter holiday. The hotel is beautifully situated close to the beach. Unfortunately our room faced the landside and even though the many trees in the area made it an ok view it was nothing against the seaside. If we were to come again we’d go for a room facing the sea. We enjoyed the spa area very much. There’s a big swimming pool with integrated whirlpool and ‘grotto’ with lights in the ceiling. There’s also a really nice sauna area with several types of saunas. The breakfast was fine with a wide selection of English and continental breakfast including the option of freshly made omelets. We had a dinner included in our stay and were a bit disappointed at the dinner buffet. It was quite plain and not much variety in the main dishes.
