Nice pool, nice balcony

Just stayed at seacrest condos in gulf shores. Nice building. One elevator was broken 3 of 5 days we were there. Pool is nice and clean. They provide bathrooms for pool and beach goers which is super nice. Our room needed a little extra attention to cleanliness. Floors had clearly not been swept. Couch was pretty dirty. Dishes had been put back in shelves wet. They provided a vacuum, so we used it. Loved that it had bunk beds.

This location is great, view and the towels are fluffy. These are the only nice things I can say about this property. The key was impossible to get out of the holder. There was supposed to be a parking pass on the counter there wasn’t. We had to pay $20 bucks to the security person downstairs. The place smelled musty almost like mold and old cigarette smoke. The beds are worn completely out with poor linens. The furniture is worn out and in some cases broken. Half of the lights are missing bulbs new bought more at Walmart. And the place was dirty. I mean like so bad I went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself. It was that gross. This trip was super last minute and the best we could find but never again would I consciously select this location

The location is great - If you booked this place for an ocean view like us, you’ll get that much. Everything else felt like a one-sided transaction. There was NOTHING luxurious-feeling about it, and very few pleasant or relaxing things to uphold it. To start with, all of our apartment LIGHTS were so DIM and unpleasant (the lamps were redeeming but some of them were not working), our BEDS were cheap/poor quality being very springy, UNCOMFORTABLE and my brother and I did not even fit on them. Our room’s FANS were so noisy that it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep with them on. All of these shortcomings and yet the stay could have still been redeemed if there had only been good service. Unfortunately, the SERVICE was the WORST part of our stay at Seacrest. We had to almost fight Michelle simply for an extra towel or two and we were never provided a pedestal fan as we asked. Both David and Michelle were extremely UNFRIENDLY, UNHELPFUL and all-in-all left us feeling like we were JUST PROFIT for them. As we were checking out, my little sister wanted to see the outdoor pool before leaving. She (wrongfully) attempted to climb over the pool fence (we had just returned the key). David rushed out and scolded her in a disturbing manner - he straight away threatened us to withhold our $200 bond. The only calming and redeeming quality of our stay at Seacrest was the ocean view. Besides this, returning to our apartment was never a comforting or relaxing thing to look forward to. The apartment and service were so bad we feel we were scammed for money.

Me and the wife stayed her for a week in May, This was our first time to stay at the location and really enjoyed our time there. Shirley was a pleasure and enjoyed staying in her one bedroom unit which is just for couples. Close to beach and several great places to eat. The view from her sixth floor unit was awesome. There is a pool and hot tube at the condo. These stayed very busy with kids most days so we did not use them. Beach access is easy. Parking is a bit limited but we did not have a problem finding a parking place though at times we got the last one.

We are here in October for our Fall break in Kentucky. Hurricane Michael is coming through but the staff have been very friendly and helpful. Parking lot is nice, good amount of space. We looove the balcony most. Pool is nice and kids really like the hot tub. Beach is clean and easy walk from condo. Each room will be different depending on owner. 609 is lovely and just what we needed!!
