Everyone should come here. Wow. This small hotel / homestay is clean, stylish and luxurious while being shockingly affordable. Why spend ridiculous amounts to stay at a resort on a tiny island when you can stay on a small island, enjoy stunning beaches, sea life and excursions from a real maldives fishing village. I adore this place. If you only stay one week - I recommend going all-inclusive. We stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed the flexibilty of not having all inclusive. We were made to feel at home as soon as we stepped off the boat. Fabulous host (Amir), great food, immaculate rooms, personalized service plus the comforts of home - cable tv, hot water, fluffy towels, excellent wifi, mini fridge - I could live here.
Failing to meet expectations

Unfortunately so much chatter, little substance.
Absolutely not recommended if you are couples looking for quiet, privacy and local life.
Better for big groups, families and people not interested in the local taste since excursions are scheduled to be done all together, dining buffet is in a perfect Italian style without variations and the atmosphere is what you can find in a touristic village (far from what we were looking for).
Annoying note the small room (defined to be deluxe) with toilet and not bathroom; shower has been installed just over the toilet. No flat tv as stated in the website. Not a small private terrace.
To conclude the promise of a free guide in Malé which at the end we discovered need to pay 10$ per person plus 6$ per luggage.
The only good note was the very kind staff working there and the nice island with the reef just few meters from shore.
Good job Amir

A very pleasant atmosphere in Asia Inn guest house. The rooms are clean, the food is delicious, and the always friendly owner of Asia Inn guest house, Amir, tried to make all the guests happy and smiling.

What about ... 12 days spent in this guesthouse and you do not want to go home anymore, yes because they and I tell them all make you feel at home! Every request is answered even before you can think of it! The guesthouse also accepts children and with them they are super and wonderful.
My husband and I asked to be able to renew the promises of marriage, because we celebrated the tenth anniversary and even on this occasion everything was organized in detail: from photographers, to the setting on the beach, the music of boduberu, bouchet, words that we exchanged .... Super!
Staying in a guesthouse means getting in touch with their customs and habits and coming home richer! I highly recommend doing this experience.
We are left to say that we will be back, my little one said that he will take this holiday in his heart and mind!
Great cultural experience in the Maldives

My husband and I stayed at Asia Inn for one week in 2016, and still think back fondly on our experience there. This is a locally owned guesthouse, on an inhabited island, so you can really appreciate the cultural side of a trip to the Maldives. The cultural experience we were able to have on this island was extremely rare/valuable and stands out in contrast to another more ‘resort style’ island we visited on this same vacation. The food included local items which we really appreciated (though also included western items for those who prefer that). We also enjoyed snorkelling the reef which led straight into the blue and offered up views of some larger marine life that liked to visit the reef edge. There are also desert island excursions and fishing day trips with local Maldivian guides. At sunset, we enjoyed walking around the island and watching the sunset in the swings.
Also note that, since this is an inhabited island, you are a guest in a traditional Muslim country, and walking around in non-beach areas in bathing suits is disrespectful. If your main concern is wifi, beachfront hotel, or walking around in your bathing suit in town, there are plenty of other resorty type places you can go to. However, if you want to be honoured with a glimpse of the Maldivian culture, then Asia Inn is a great place to go, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
