Great stay but far from Zion

Avaliou em 21 de julho de 2022

The site is set up well, but know that this is by no means a luxury experience. It is more camping vibes with certain comforts- the best of which is the aircon in the tents! We definitely needed and appreciated the aircon! The bathrooms are good, but there really aren't enough of them. Same goes for the kitchen facilities, they are a bit basic considering you need to cook and store food. Bring a cooler for your food and drinks if you can! Marcel is great and honestly makes the best pancakes on earth. We had a great time sitting around the campfire chatting with him. Do be aware that it is at least an hour drive to Zion NP so starting early for hikes etc. can be difficult. Other than that, the place is undergoing some major improvements and I'm sure any issue we faced is already in the process of being resolved. I recommend staying here with the right expectations.

Family Adventure in Zion

Avaliou em 14 de junho de 2022

It was a great 3 days with our Fam at Zion. A great big part of that was our stay at Zion Glamping Adventures. The tents and facilities were fine but what made the experience exceptional was the care Marcel took to ensure that our group of 10 had all we needed for the glamping part of the trip. Including cooking pancakes each morning for the camp. The setting of the tents was stunning and the location is great for exploring this awesome area. Thanks again Marcel and Maria in the reservations side, you made our experience great.

Had a great time glamping and really appreciated Marcel taking care to make sure we were all comfortable. He had great information to share with us about the local area as well as the parks and scenic areas to visit. We had a great time!

Incredible Glamping Experience

Zion Glamping Adventures is our first (but not last) glamping experience. We were a group of family friends with 3 kids, the youngest being 6 y/o. The campsite is set on the other side of the mountains from Zion National Park, about an hour's drive away. The tents are scattered on the hillside in a way that provides privacy per tent but still close enough to not be isolated. There's a picnic table and fire pit for each site. We had 3 tents for our group. The bathrooms with showers are only a few dozen yards away, roughly in the center of the camp grounds. There's safe parking right onsite. We were greeted by Marcel on check in (there's no formal check in with a desk, etc. He just met us when we arrived.). He gave us a tour of the grounds including an introduction to their animals: a pig named Wilbur, and mother pony and her new baby, and some young chickens. All of which we were welcome and encouraged to pet. There is a large open space where they have some yard games set up (ex horseshoe and bean bag toss). There were grills available for use. Marcel made pancakes each morning which were a big hit with our party. We kept coming back for seconds (and thirds)! They provide a common fridge and freezer - super handy if you have food that might spoil. Of course I need to talk about the actual accommodations. We used their 2-queen bed tents. They were quite spacious - plenty of space for our bags. The beds are real beds and are very comfortable. They were fully made - we didn't need to utilize our own blankets or sleeping bags. They also provided towels. There were a lot of activities/excursions Zion Glamping Adventures offered. Too bad we were only there for the weekend - not enough time! Would love to return for a longer stay next time!

If You Like Camping, You're Going to Love This! Everything is All Set Up for You. Beautiful, Large, Spotless Tents. Clean Restrooms and Showers. Hot Coffee and Pancake Breakfast Prepared By Marcell Each Morning. S'Mores Around a Campfire (That THEY BUILD!) Each Night. We Stayed in Tent Site #6 and Had a PotBelly Pig Named Wilber in our Front Yard. He Was a Fun Alarm Clock in the AM when He Was Ready for His Breakfast. On Our Last Night There the Small Pony Nearby Gave Birth to a New Little Filly. SO Exciting. Highly Recommend for FUN and the Views of Water Canyon in the AM and PM are Second to None! Thank You so much for a Fabulous Time.
