It was a family trip. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the in the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hot drinks are provided 24 hours a day. The room was very comfortable and cozy and clean. The hotel was tastefully decorated. Will stay again!

Old, Tired Property That Needs Renovation

Hampton Inns is my "go to" chain when travelling. The properties are generally clean, consistent, breakfasts are a cut above, and the prices are competitive. Not so, this one in Inwood, WV. The room price was higher than those quoted by competing chains but I figured that reflected a better hotel. It wasn't. The carpets in the hallways and my room were worn and dirty. My room smelled of smoke despite the fact it was advertised as non-smoking, and the bathroom fixtures were older (toilet seat was missing a fastener so it slid around - yikes!!). Breakfast was not up to Hampton standards. Staff was pleasant - the only redeeming part of the stay. Hampton will continue to have my business, but not this unit if I am ever passing through.

We stayed 4 nights and couldn't have been more pleased with the staff and hotel from arrival to departure. The staff is professional, personable, and very pleasant. Happy faces and helpful at every time of day. Shout out to Jen. The room and hotel very clean (not 1 round corner to be found). Breakfast was served each day and was yummy- variety, well stocked and organized, ample comfortable seating, coffee was good too (and I drink it black). Plenty of pillows and comfy sleeping. Some will understand this- towels smell nice and don't leave a film when used to clean your glasses. We have this location on a favorites list now and will stay again when in the area. P.S. The Cider Press is just a block or so away and is great place to eat lunch or dinner.

Excellent Staff and Perfect Hotel. On my last visit to this hotel, I got Sick and the Staff contacted my Wife and Emergency Services , without me even asking. This Hotel is the Best in the Hilton Family

A Very Pleasant Evening

The staff was great. Check-in and check-out were handled in less than a minute combined and everything was accurate and ready. The breakfast attendant was on the ball, restocking food and drinks before they emptied. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything in the room worked. Wifi was fast and reliable. The beds and pillows were soft and comfy. There were plenty of towels. The breakfast was excellent. Waffles, eggs, cereals, pasties, and juices were all available and tasted good. The attendant kept everything available and the seating area clean. All of the public areas were in good clean condition, inside and out. The outdoor pool wasn't open, but the area appeared to be in good shape and maintained. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay. I'll choose them again if I'm ever back in the area.
