Stayed for 3 days on a business trip. First room was very clean but the a/c didn't work. Had to move next door to a new room which involved loading all our suitcases and bags back in the car then coming back from dinner and going right next door to the first room. Second room also clean and actually had an iron and hair dryer-first room was missing these. That night all night people upstairs were running back and forth..couldn't sleep. Complained to staff in the a.m. so they moved us to a totally separate building..said "this side is quieter" this room not so clean...saw 2 roaches in the bathroom and rug was stained but that was all. Security lock on the door was wiggly and actually fell apart on day 3...breakfast was granola bars instant oatmeal and muffins as well as coffee or hot tea...im ok with that but spoons not available to eat the oatmeal with..had to add a little extra water and drink it...asked for 2 clean washcloths on day 2..had to go bring my dirty ones to them for an exchange...no ice machines at all...no pool..did see a laundry room but did not even go in there...trash is left sitting under the outside stairwells at the end of each building(5 buildings at this place I think)..there was an odor..never saw a dumpster on the property. Would definitely not return. One staff member-a young man- was very friendly..all others very quiet and did not smile. Oh yeah-ran over a nail in the parking lot and got a flat tire as well...saw a few pieces of trash and other debris laying around in the parking areas. Would have been worth the additional dollars to just go somewhere nicer.

Charlene was so helpful :), She was so hospitable and nice. All the Amenities were available in the hotel. It had a nice Pool. Extremely a great place to stay who has been new to the states. Absolutely loved the stay.

Horrible unethical treatment during a ice storm

On 02/23/2022 I was flying out of DFW and the plane was cancelled due to ice. I used Booking.com to secure with a credit card a room at the Extended Stay Las Colinas 5315 Carnaby St Irving Texas 75038. The check in was easy and professional with the night staff. The next morning another ice storm came through and the city shut down. Flights were grounded and there was no transportation to another hotel. I contacted the desk early to see if I could book for another night or two. I spoke to the manager and she informed that there had been a change in policy "due to the weather" and any guest wanting to stay another night would have to "book for a week" and that there was "no housekeeping". I was also told this change came from new management at corporate. I informed that I was a single female renting the room and did not need housekeeping. I called guest relations and they then stated that the hotel was designed to aid those for weekly stays not overnights. I asked where is the policy notifying the client of this when I booked and she replied that the hotel has "right" to do this and raise their rates. After reviewing my options I decided to consider renting a week because perhaps the flight insurance would pay me reimbursement. I then went to the front desk and was told there was no vacancies and told that if I did not leave the "police would be called". I had no transportation due to the storm and other than walking I had no way to leave. The roads were frozen. This treatment was extremely poor and highly unethical. It may be legal but it is taking advantage of those stuck in an ice storm. It is price gouging and baiting a customer to then switch. At around 12pm, I found an UBER at the airport and they picked me up. I will never recommend nor stay at these hotels.

Booked 3 nights due to canceled flights from winter storm. After a very long and frustrating day, came in to a disgusting bathroom and room. I have NEVER seen something this awful (and I've stayed in some crappy places). Especially not for the price!

Excellent service. The employees, and, in particular, Tay, were so nice and helpful while I stayed for four months. I am very appreciative. It was like a home for me for a few months. I would highly recommend this location.
