Having already visited Istanbul i knew the location of this hotel would be ideal for me being a stones throw away from public transport and ofcourse all the key tourist attractions are within walking distance. I arrived at the hotel in the evening for my 8night stay and received a warm welcome by Ahmet - he diligently ensured that all my needs were met each day throughout my stay which i very much appreciated. Being a solo female traveller it is important that i felt safe for my trip which i can honestly say i really did at this property. My room was decently sized, located on the third floor and was more than adequate for my needs. The highlight for me were the staff. From the moment i arrived until i left they were not only extremely kind, polite and well-mannered but they went above and beyond if i requested something out of the ordinary. Ismail and Sarhat were wonderful, they delivered impeccable service day in day out. They showed genuine care (something which is difficult to find in many hotels) and Nermin (housekeeping lady) was a joy to interact with each day. All the other staff members whom i met only briefly were just as wonderful - Thank you for looking after me! I wouldn't hestitate to go back to this hotel. If you're looking for a really good hotel with excellent staff then i highly recommend it.
Stylish hotel in great location
We booked this hotel at a really good price and it exceeded all exceptions. We couldn't fault it! Room was lovely, very beautiful and spacious. Stylish, yet rustic with all modern appliances. Room noise was minimal - especially considering its location. The location was spot on, round the corner from the old square and the main attractions, but about a 45-min walk to the Bosporus area. Lots of nice restaurants nearby - especially Dubb Ethnic. The staff were so helpful and friendly - always wanting to talk to you and make sure you were ok. They let us leave the car there even after check-out which was appreciated as we could still sight-see for the rest of the day. Breakfast was plentiful and a huge choice of hot and cold food as well as cakes/pastries. The view from the terrace is spectacular - the sea on one side and the Blue Mosque/Haggia Sophia on the other side. Very lucky indeed! The car parking was difficult - but I think you would get this anywhere and I wouldn't advise travelling by car unless you have to - but staff moved the car whenever they needed to. This hotel was really great and would recommend it to anyone.
Great staff, rooms are okay, breakfast and staff went beyond to help you with anything you needed. Very hard to find, you must have google maps or take a taxi. Forget the rental car, you don't need it.
Coming back for sure!
Great location, within walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. Friendly stuff, always willing to help. Cleaning ladies did a great job, loved the sheets. Rooms looked like in the pictures, with working elevators in both buildings... (as a response to previous reviews). There are two hotels in the same location : Azade and Azade Premier, the newer and more elevated version, which i recommend. They both share the same breakfast terrace ( on the roof ) which has an amazing view over the Bosphorus.. As for the breakfast it has everything you need, good choices, not limited nor basic, but also not a morning feast...but then again...who would need more when you're in one of the culinary capitals of the world?!? During the day there were renovations made to the building across the street, which made impossible an afternoon nap, due to the noise. Not the hotel's fault..but still...it was like clockwork, every morning at 9 am it started and it stopped around 5 pm. Overall...i'm coming back in december so that says it all! Thank you Azade Premier!
