Clean Room, Friendly & Helpful Staff, Right Price
Avaliou em 8 de Janeiro de 2020
We had an out-of-town guest over the holidays who is disabled and stayed at this hotel because our home is not handicapped accessible. It worked out very well. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Her room was fully accessible and in clean condition.
Our only recommendation is the main entrance door be equipped to open automatically with the push of a button. It would make for much easier access for a person with a walker or wheel chair. Staff though was quick to run over and open the door if they were present.

I Love this place...
It’s clean and very quiet.
Good restaurant as well.
I was there for a very short visit and I will be back.
Very close distance from Woodinville and very reasonable price.
The staff was very nice too!!

The staff at Totem Lake Hotel are really welcoming and made my stay enjoyable. They have a work out room, breakfast and the stay was very calming;. The hotel has a little trail right around the corner that is very beautiful and the restaurant is very delicious. I would definitely stay at Totem Lake Hotel Again.
Nice stay in an eclectic hotel

The room was very clean and the wifi worked well, with no interruptions. The location is fine, next to a bunch of stores like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, and decent restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and there was an extra sitting room with a work desk, making it a mini suite. The continental breakfast was very simple, with coffee, yogurt, cereal and maybe some other light things. The front desk staff were all efficient and friendly.
On the downside, I think the breakfast could have been more extensive for the price I paid for the room...at least a small hot breakfast, with sausage and eggs like competing hotels do. There was a lot of noisy construction around the hotel (tons of condo units going up in Totem Lake, like all around greater Seattle (how many more people can they possibly fit in there?).
Chinese Mall Meets Horror Movie

It has a Native American name, painted like a red barn and is full of Chinese decor. I guess it used to be a marketplace and feels like you're staying in an abandoned mall.
I had a cigarette burn on my bedspread, a hole in my lamp shade, a questionable stain above my bed, ripped towels, a window that wouldn't shut on the ground floor, an extension cord that runs under the installed carpet, and a pool that looks like it's from a horror movie! The workout room wreaks of mildew and there's mold in the shower. And the interior is bizarre. The only positive was the incredibly friendly and personable young man working three desk in the evening. David, you can do better than working at the Totem Lake Hotel!
