We stayed here in 2022 oct.for 1 night.The hotel itself on the beach walking distance from restaurants and bars , nice view with a balcony but so old fashioned , so used,unconfortable bads, needs to be renewed in every and all places.We had the biggest ( most elegant room ) based on their website but honestly , you do not want to stay there .Good point , we travelled with a dog and he was allowed in.There is also a parking on site, supermaket, beach walking distance.

After a rather fraught time at home a stay in La Grande Motte was just what we needed and the Mercure Hotel was the right place to do it. Our room had a balcony with a wonderful view especially at sunset and everywhere was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable with cooling cotton sheets. Having a bath rather than just a shower was a bonus plus large absorbent bath towels. We ate in the restaurant twice and were impressed by the standard of the dishes offered and reasonable prices. In fact, we loved staying here. It wasn’t our first visit and I hope there will be many more.

Staff were excellent, helpful and attentive. Managed to park at the front of the hotel for no extra cost. The hotel is well located, close to the beach and restaurants. However the hotel is looking tired and dated. Our room had a good view from the 5th floor but is in desperate need of modernising to what you would expect a Mercure standard to be. Breakfast was plentiful and was in a good location on the terrace.

The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they took time to help customers. The breakfast was very chaotic the first days (there was a Ferrari fair and some participants were staying at the hotel..). The swimming pool is small, and does not have so many lounge chairs, but the hotel is located near the sea and 10mns walking to the closest beach. The parking places are limited and cannot be reserved, in high season that can be problematic..however we were still asked to pay the daily fee for the parking at th check-out. The room was cleaned, but you can notice that the hotel is outdated, shower in a bath tube, not many plugs, noisy airco etc...

This hotel is so well situated with beautiful views and great balconies. Lovely staff and great breakfast- the only criticism we have is that the carpet in our room was badly stained and very shabby- not Accor standard.
