Breakfast buffet was terrible no one came to replace anything so you paid for whatever scraps they had left also no plates were available. I felt bad because they only had one woman working she was stressed and kept apologizing and she was doing her best. I also was issued a phantom charge on my credit card that I have no idea on what it’s for?

Definitely needs rooms and bathrooms updated

When we arrived to check in, the clerk was barely friendly. She had to stop chatting with another staff member to deal with us. I am from Lafayette and worked for a major company there. When the hotel was built, our assistants were given a tour so we could recommend and use the hotel for our visitors. It was a lovely place back then. The room we were given was just average. The bathroom needs updating. The shower had cracks in it and I am not sure if it was actually dirty or just so old that nothing could clean it. The toilet was leaking and they did fix it the next day. Not sure if we will stay there again. There are so many nice hotels now in Lafayette. I know the hotel can’t help their location now but that neighborhood has really gone downhill. Also, be sure and ask for a room on the north side that looks over the courthouse. I forgot to do that and our room had a crappy view of roofs with air conditioning units.

Amazing food thanks to Wesley!!

I was very impressed with this property! Beautiful lobby and decor. What stood out the most was the food from the bar, cooked by Wesley. I never knew a simple quesadilla could taste so amazing! I will be booking all my future stays at this property even if it is just for the food. Thank your Wesley! Keep up the great work!!!

Met my best friend for a short girls trip and stayed at this hotel. Good location for lots of things downtown Lafayette. The hotel has gone through a "remodeling" however, very hit and miss. First room the bathroom was disgusting. A dirty sink, tub was filthy and had been repaired many times with epoxy. Second room again had cracked bathroom, dirty sink & toilet and the sink would not drain for an hour. Hours of the pool and breakfast were different than what was posted on the website. The carpet in the room was filthy. Pictures tell it all. Steer clear of this place!

Disgusting hotel

We checked in and were given a room with hair and mold in bathroom. We let the desk know, and they switched us--to a room that was occupied! People's suitcases and clothes were on the bed. Switched yet again to a room with an unflushed tiolet and mildew in tub. The kicker is there's also no daily housekeeping. I called to request it and they said I was supposed to fill out a form at the front desk at check in if I wanted housekeeping during my stay. I was never given this form. I'm giving two stars only because the staff did try to help--but the hotel is clearly poorly managed and it's resulted in a disgusting experience. I'm angry because the price I paid was not cheap; I didn't expect luxury but I did expect basic cleanliness.
