Best first trip to Lake Charles
The staff was most wonderful. Called when we got in early that our room was ready. Baby Ladybug (dog) was treated so friendly and we felt safe at leaving her for a few hours each day. People wore mask and kept cleaning throughout the day. Our room smelled fresh and throughout the stay they kept it clean. Breakfast was good. We were thankful to. Get up and have fresh coffee. They had a van to transport to casinos if you wish. Staff was very helpful and gave us information to get around. I would definitely come to stay again and recommend people stay here.
Amazing!
It is my first time staying here and right away I was blown away by the customer service! I arrived about 15 minutes before noon, in which I was advised over the phone they don't usually check in before 1200 which is understandable. Melena was FABULOUS! She greeted me with a beautiful smile and welcoming personality. She then called housekeeping and was even going to go upstairs to reach housekeeping because the housekeeper was busy cleaning so she didn't answer. She made sure the suite was clean and ready to go. I told her it was okay if I had to wait, and she still persisted to get me in the room asap. OUTSTANDING customer service. I was checked in before 1200! She made me feel important and welcomed. I also didn't even have any questions because she made sure to cover everything. I have worked hotel front desk at L'Auberge,as well as Golden Nugget many years. She deserves recognition for her amazing customer service. Keep doing what you are doing, girl!
Room 333 not worth it.
Have stayed at this Hotel many times and never had a problem but this stay was well below par. We have always had a TV that was larger than 36” and was viewable laying on the bed. This one was not and was not. 👎 We have always had night stands on both sides of the bed but not this time. Both of us use equipment for sleeping and requires a night stand to place things on. This room was so small there was no room to put a table on both sides. 👎 This was a lockout room used for adding an additional sleeping room for kids etc and was smaller than the average King size room we have stayed in before. AC was right next to one side of the bed which made it very uncomfortable. 👎 Will not accept a room like this if I ever stay there again.
Great place to stay close to casinos
Laurie B was a great front desk lady was always there for any question we may have and to suggest restaurants. We travel with ES dogs and this is a great pet friendly hotel with plenty of grassy areas
Trip to casino
Trip to casino was perfect with this stay. Room was perfect, clean, and property was tidy. In my opinion, highly recommend. Can stay anywhere but will stay here again. Just go early for the food in the morning. It could get busy.
