Relaxing stay

Me and my wife stayed here at this hotel for 5 days and we have nothing but good experiences. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly. They always made sure that our needs are met. My wife and I decided last minute to do an excursion. Fortunately, the hotel offers multiple options to choose from. We booked two excursions through them- we had an awesome experience! The transactions were smooth and easy. They even offer "wake up call", if you need it. They hotel has a restaurant with an a waterfront view. They also offer homemade ice cream- it was delicious. If you guys need a a quick snack, their hotel is located across 7-11 (open 24 hours). They have three swimming pools, but our favorite pool is the elevated pool because you can watch the sunset. The pools were clean. Overall, we would recommend this hotel. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

DO NOT BOOK! LIARS...

Okay so I stayed here last October. The first question I asked them was about the internet. They said they have and working fine. Because of my work I have to be connected all the time. 10 minutes in there I noticed that I cant send an email in short the internet was not working. I called and complained - nothing improved. About 12 midnight, I called again. There solution was to go out and be in the lobby. Is this not ridiculous when you paid for a room? In the morning they finally told me that they were upgrading their system. Why not disclose that on the onset? I could have gotten a diffeent hotel? Why lie? I asker the front desk lady if she thinks its right to lie to customers. She said, "no" but cant do anything about it. Retaurant food has nothing special to offer but very pricy. Swimming pools they have three but the other two is occupied by a dive shop. Staff are okay but they need to be taught customer service.

I had the best staycation during my remaining days in Cebu! Palm Beach Resort has a perfect beach view, relaxing ambiance, and overall - very accommodating staff! If I could go back to Cebu once again, I would never have any second thought on staying at this resort again!

Old hotel with young cockroaches (and nice staff)
Avaliou em 13 de agosto de 2019
We stayed in a "deluxe" room (#216) during three nights at the beginning of August 2019. The room and its bed were large and comfortable, although the bed linen was too small for it. We requested that it be changed and it was. The staff were really kind, as in all hotels we tried in the Philippines. The bathroom was clearly less nice: the shower was framed by an old and partly rusty structure, and there was no room to put personal belongings next to the sink, except in a cupboard placed insanely high above it (I'm 1.83m tall and struggled to reach its bottom). Much worse, three out of three nights we saw cockroaches (most of them young and small, but also a really huge one). Another issue we had with the room and the general condition of the building was the noise. The window frames are cheap and old, so the windows and the door to the tiny balcony of the room do not close properly. Anyway, we mostly left them open because the AC unit is very noisy, even in "quiet cool" mode... Finally, the management seem to have lost their minds in what concerns prices of drinks, either in the bar/restaurant (which only offers a really average breakfast) or in the room minibar. As an example, a 33cl can of the most typical local beer (San Miguel Pilsen) was priced at/over 100PHP, when the most we payed for it during our whole trip, for instance in a terrace overlooking the sea in a nearby (proper) resort, was 95PHP... not to speak of the 37PHP in the 7-Eleven just in front of the hotel!
