A Wonderful Stay at Hotel Cafe Miramar

The hotel staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We had to stay an extra evening and they were able to accommodate us in the same room! Although it was February, we sat outside to watch the sunset from our balcony. It was spectacular and a memory I shall always cherish. One evening we had dinner at the hotel which was very good. If you enjoy life you will really enjoy your visit at the Hotel Cafe Miramar.

We have just returned from a week 13th - 20th July 2022 at Cafe Miramar. We had previously stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in July 2019 and had such a wonderful time we had booked to return in July 2020 but unfortunately had to cancel due to the COVID Pandemic. So we had been so looking forward to coming back. We rarely go back to the same place and that tells you how special this little hotel and Le Grau du Roi are. The location is perfect across from the beach and we loved our room (16) as it had a lovely beach front balcony and side port hole window. The shower is good and air conditioning is excellent. The room as previous reviewers have said is small. We loved the Cafe Miramar beach club and the staff particularly the waiters look after you very well. When we were at Cafe Miramar in 2019 we had no problem booking beds and parasols. This time unfortunately Le Grau du Roi has grown in popularity and due to it being the weekend following Bastille day we could only book for the last 2 days of our week stay. So take my advice and book the beach club early. We loved having our breakfast outside looking over the beach. The girls who served us were lovely. Plenty of cereal, bread, croissants and cheeses and ham. Although there were fruit we would have preferred if it had been cut up and a little more variety. We had dinner at the hotel the first night and it was delicious. I had goat cheese salad and my husband had the razor clams. We were fortunate to see the fireworks on Bastille day as well as the water jousting. Make sure you book a sunset cruise. We had a hired car and made day trips to Montpellier and Aigues Mortes. Both worth seeing. Don’t bother going to see La Grand Motte. But the best thing of all are the outstanding canal, beach front and little squares restaurants and the seafood. All the menus are in French but everyone who served us were so helpful! When checking out we spoke to Stefanie the owner and had a lovely chat. Le Grau du Roi is a hidden gem and we love it because the French have kept it a secret and there are not many foreigners who know about it. Cafe Miramar is the place to stay! We loved it.

Magnificent view and cozy hotel rooms ❤️

We started at Miramar for 4 nights (2 adults and 2 kids). We rented sea view apartment and enjoyed it very much. Apartment had 2 rooms that could be separated by the rolling wall. All cutlery and kitchen appliances were new. Master bedroom and sofa bed were very comfortable. The view from the apartment was magnificent and evening view was very beautiful. We also enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant which offered a good variety of food.

We really enjoyed the Hotel Cafe Miramar studio apartment. The decor is stunning as are the modern aesthetics. Even though it was a studio the apartment felt spacious and luminous and it didn't hurt having a lovely view of the ocean! The staff went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of. Be aware that there are a number of steps to access the apartment and we appreciated the fact that the staff helped us with our suitcases! Gorgeous views of the sunset. So wonderful to be back in Grau du Roi!

Chill out weekend

I spent a great weekend in Miramar from 26.06. to 28.06. Beyond the top location we had agreat chill out at the Miramar Beach Club. Both the hotel and the Beach Club have an excellent cuisine!!! Service and quality was outstanding. We defo will come come, even for longer. We tried to extend our staying but the hotel was fully booked.
