Good hotel for 2 stars. WI-FI ok in all place in hotel. Tea and cofee in room free. Near road N3 Close parking with automatic gate. Good restourant, but in sunday only burger Some rooms waiting renovation...
The hotel is not close enough to the rer station to walk, and you dont find cabs or bus to take you from the station to the hotel... So dont go there unless you are driving! The bathroom was kind of dirty and the doors and walls in dire need for some painting. The staff didnt speak much english and were unable to help us much. The room smells of smoking and the walls are so thin! Very bad cost benefit!
I was there for business and spend 1 week there. Unfortunately I can't recommend this hotel for it's infrastructure. Absolutely need refurbishment. The breakfast is ok, only one single menu for the week ends. Wifi slow when accessible. Personnel need serious training in human relationship
Desperately in need of refurbishment
We have been using this hotel on and off over about 20 years. We have never seen it in such dreadful condition. Carpets are filthy, especially in lift and corridors, but also in rooms. The heater was hanging off the wall, window stay was missing, mirror in bathroom was held up with gaffer tape, shower head was broken. There was a kettle & cups in the room, but no tea coffee sugar or milk, which always used to be provided. This hotel has really gone downhill. Despite it being very convenient for visiting family locally, I doubt I will stay there again.
We had to stay at this hotel because it apparently was the only one available in the area where we had a commitment. The hotel reception and breakfast area are ok, There's a big parking for those travelling by car and the rooms are very clean, there was no trace of dust anywhere, even in hidden corners.Unfortunately rooms are also in bad need of refurbishment as the carpet is quite old and stained; the plaster on the wall is in need of a coat paint as well. Our room did not have a wardrobe and was quite small but had a large bathroom. We stayed in room 111 and it had intercommunicating doors with very noisy occupants, this was annoying. The hotel provides what it says for a 2 star but it's slightly pricey. The road where it's located is an industrial/commercial one with no restaurants but in 10 minutes walk you can reach Livry city center which offers take-aways, pharmacies, supermarkets, bakers etc. Service at reception was good, but it varied depending a lot on the person at the reception.Breakfast is good (croissants, cake, pain au chocolat, crepes, cheese, ham, baguette, yogurt, fruit salad, juices and a selection of tea and coffees) if a little pricey (at 9.50 per person but it's optional). The hotel is also located at 20 mins walk from the RER train to Paris Gare du Nord, which proved quite handy for a daily trip to city centre, you can also reach the RER with a bus if you don't feel like walking.
