Fantastic hotel with genuinely welcoming and caring staff. If you are looking for something different and not the homogenised blandness of so many hotels then “Batty Langleys” is it. From the moment you step inside from the crowded city streets its like entering a cocoon of peace, tranquility and calm. Yes it is quirky and may not suit those preferIng spas and restaurants but it has all the modern amenities required combined with a sense of history and true style. Its various reception rooms, honestly bars and incredible rooms make it feel as if you have come home and their smoked salmon breakfast bagels are amazing. We loved it so much that within an hour of arriving we had already booked our next stay.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it has the most beautiful interior, nicest staff( with a lot of humor) best breakfast ever(you have to try salmon with beagel!) Location is also super, so worth it to spend a little more money to get the BEST!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The name is misleading! this beautiful ,luxury boutique hotel is far from being Batty. Quite the opposite. The attention paid to every possible need of ours could only be done by the most discerning staff. Everyone was so helpful, kind, courteous and at the same time, relaxed, friendly, and humorous. I had booked Batty Langley's for a six night stay in a junior sweet. I was treating friend of mine who due to health reasons, was on his last trip to London. Everyone in reservations made sure we had a beautiful room that quiet and fulfilled all of our needs! The hotel is beautiful and the pictures really reflect what it looks like. In fact, We stayed in the junior sweet that is on the webpage and it is as lovely as it looks. We felt like we were living in a picture! My friend ordered coffee to be sent to our room revery morning, while I slept, and I never heard anyone bringing the tray in. Pin drop quiet! While there is construction going on around the hotel, we heard nothing. I am a very light sleeper and had no issues. This was thanks to to the excellent reservations staff really caring about my requests. Cannot recommend Batty Langley's enough!

Could not ask for more! This hotel is wonderful but it’s the staff that truly sets it apart!! So friendly, helpful and professional! The breakfast is awesome. Waking up to a knock on the door and someone is beautiful attire delivering as flawless breakfast is something I’ve never experienced before. We took full advantage of the self-serve gin bar is so fun and an amazing value and the courtyard was the perfect place for a cocktail. In summary, we don’t stay anywhere else when we visit London!

A true hidden gem

I booked this hotel as a surprise for our wedding anniversary as we were having dinner nearby. It is a true hidden gem on the edge of Spitalfields Market. I arrived a little early and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. As the room was not quite ready I was served tea in the beautiful tapestry room. I was then taken to the Earl of Bolingbroke suite which honestly takes your breath away. The authentic Victorian interior design is creative and stylish, featuring two levels. There is a hidden toilet (which is actually more of a throne) behind a bookcase on the lower floor. The bedroom above, has a beautiful bed and a solid marble bath in the room with a separate bathroom and shower. The icing on the cake is a spacious outdoor patio overlooking the city and across the Canary Wharf. There is no restaurant, which would in many ways be a waste anyway as you are surrounded by some many wonderful places to eat in the locale. There is a limited but perfectly adequate choice of breakfast food which we were lucky enough to be able to eat outside on the patio. We would not hesitate to return and only hope that it has not become so popular that we can’t get in!
