A wonderful hotel, magnificent views and a superb restaurant. Thank you for our stay.Our suite overlooked the lake and the restaurant has a panorama of the viaduct, which was illuminated in the evening.

The exterior of the hotel is exceptionel but our room was very disappointing, we paid extra for a larger room, but it was poorly laid out and we would have been better off with a standard room. The room smelt, it was very basic, you couldn't even make your self a drink. The Staff were abrasive, the restaurant had flies crawling up the windows, but no one seemed bothered! except us. Food not good, just adequate. This stay was a huge disappointment for us as the setting is truly amazing.

When planning our trip through Spain and France we took into consideration location and if something looked a little bit unique and with Hotel Beau Site we found a beautiful hotel. The surroundings are spectacular with some stunning views of the river and the viaduct designed by Eiffel of tower fame. The hotel is very quaint, lovely staff and a restaurant to die for. Hotel as a lovely swimming pool and a tennis court but you just can’t beat looking down the valley at the river. What a find! If you are traveling down to Spain or back up through France do yourself a favor and stop off here. You won’t regret it!

How can a hotel situated in such a beautiful location and with such nice grounds offer such a dreary room? My room was dark, ugly and unfriendly with strong unpleasant smell. Bathroom was miserable with ugly with barely working fixtures. Noise insulation was very bad. WIFI barely usable. Breakfast buffet was below average. Luckily I only stayed one night - otherwise I would have been deeply depressed.

Our room was on the 1st floor with two windows, one with a view over the lake, swimming pool and garden, the other over the garden and children’s play area. There are rooms with a view of the wonderful Viaduc du Garabit, designed by Gustave Eiffel. The room wasn’t large but it was very well equipped with all the cupboard/wardrobe space you need. Nice ensuite too. The room was beautifully colour co-ordinated and we were very comfortable for the week we stayed. We didn’t book half-board as we thought we would occasionally try other local restaurants, but to be honest we ate there every night because the food was so good and there was a wide menu. The dining room has lovely views over the lake and the viaduct. We used the swimming pool every day before dinner. It was a little paradise. The family who own the hotel could not have been friendlier or more helpful. All,the staff were lovely and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. We will most definitely go again, probably next year.
