Not what I expected from Hilton Brand

College town with college kids working there. Very non chalant about job. Found front desk clerk asleep ON THE FRONT COUNTER when I got up to get coffee in the morning which by the way was not made. The water was out, there were no ice buckets available. The room was nice but small which is the Tru brand. Very dorm like. No coffee maker in room which is why I went down for it! Nothing left for breakfast but waffle stuff by 8am on a Monday morning. We stayed here because of the brand, Hilton, and they take cats.

Very Pleasant Extended Stay

I really liked my stay at Tru. It was very quiet, the internet was very reliable, and the rooms were very clean. I liked the no carpet floors, perfect for folks with allergies. Staff was excellent, housekeeping always made sure supplies and towels were refreshed. Always welcomed back upon my return. The breakfast was hot and fresh, and there is coffee all day. There is an exercise room, and the pool table in the lobby just great.

The Lubbock Tru is an excellent stay with a super friendly staff that cares about their customers. This was our third time to stay at the Tru in Lubbock and the stay exceeded our expectations. Rooms may seem basic but include a small fridge, iron/ironing board, and nice large TV. Room was clean. Coffee available in the lobby all day. Hotel is in a good location with many restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Dirty!!!!!!! You get what you pay for. Cold breakfast, dirty room. Never staying at this chain again. Do t believe the pictures you see on their website. No hand soap in bathroom, extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows.

We've stayed at several pet-friendly hotels in Lubbock and this was truly the nicest, quietest one we've visited. The staff at the front desk were friendly, despite the late hour. We requested a quiet room and were very pleased. The room was clean, updated and very quiet. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was amazing. Breakfast had everything our family could have asked for. My daughter was enthralled with the pancake maker. We saw several dogs in the hall and at breakfast but never heard them in our room. What a great hotel! We would definitely stay here again.
