Second Stay in that Hotel. Unlike first Stop we were disappointed. The carpet in the room was a mass, spotted and blurry. Receptionist friendly but not authorized to touch up. Manager sitting 3 meters from desk, not interested. Early Check- in fee at 12.30h

I know this hotel and I have been staying at your place several times. Allways a pleasure to come back to Lüdenscheid where I did my military duty long ago,and your hotel offers eaxctly all I expect. This time however, I had a bad surprise, finding your hotel restaurant closed at my arrival at 21:00, really not pleasant after a whole day of travellingg and where I did not have time for lunch at mid-day. The explanation given by your desk employee could at least have been a little nore friendly.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Breakfast the first 2 mornings was great, fresh bread buns, a lot of choice but the last 3 days it was way less great, especially when you go there a little later (an hour before closing). Quite a lot of choice for cheese and meat for the bread. No croissants of normal bread though. Rooms are pretty basic, with a balcony which has no chairs or table. No airconditioning so the balcony and the doors made it a bit better temperature wise. Bed was good. Bathroom was small but a lovely shower and big sink. No minibar or fridge. The carpet was gross, had big stains on it. The window on the inside was also really dirty. With COVID there was no housekeeping during the stay so we had to go down every time to get clean towels. After a while we ran out of tissues and toilet paper and shower gel. No bathroom necessities other than the basic big bottle of shampoo/shower gel. Tea and coffee in the room. No tourist information. There is a nice park next the hotel for short walks. Pool was really cold but ok.

A short trip whilst returning to the UK, my first in time of COVID I know this hotel quite well, the check in process was efficient and safe The bar and resturant was shut but limited supplies available from reception Had a suite very large and well appointed overall quite good but the carpet especially was tired Breakfast worked well all the usual food well controlled and very safe Overall all a very satisfactory stay

Corona measures were strictly applied, well done. Làrge comfortable rooms with a balcony but the equipment of the bathroom could be better, coat racks and cupboard are lacking. Excellent breakfast and overall good service.
