I really enjoyed this hotel, it was just what we needed! The newly renovated rooms are beautiful and the complimentary breakfast was a plus!! Teresa are Erron at the front desk were great! I recommend this hotel and hopefully will be back soon for another stay!

Hot tub!

It's hard to find a hot tub but they have a nice one with a heated pool. the hotel was very clean...it looked new. it had everything we needed, fridge and microwave, and a good breakfast selection including hot food.

Every conceivable detail has been conscientiously attended to in this Fairfield: immaculately clean rooms, sound-insulated design, a perfect mattress that ensures sound asleep, unfailing courtesy from all staff, nice facilities, fresh breakfast. Our go-to hotel in upstate New York.

What a find! Great value for your money

We visit Saratoga Springs regularly, but the prices there have ballooned this season. So we tried Malta's Fairfield Inn at about half the price of a similar Saratoga hotel and are so glad we did. It is just off Rte 87 (but very quiet) and an easy 10 minute drive to Saratoga. First, I must say that one of its strongest features is the staff. Everyone we spoke to-- front desk, cleaning staff, breakfast room staff -- was friendly, professional, and obviously took great pride in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable -- with windows that actually opened. Huge TV screen, and refrigerator that actually had a real freezer, so that we could chill our blue ice for grocery shopping. Easy-access walk-in shower. Cleaning service would have been available if we wanted it. Breakfast was first-rate, well stocked, with lots of choice and free-range scrambled eggs. I would say it was at least equal to the best Hampton Inns. We were so glad not to find grab-and-go, always a disappointment. Coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate were available all day. We will certainly come back. We didn't get to try the pool, but will next time.

Newly renovated and super-attentive

We have been staying here for a number of years when visiting family nearby. It's reliably comfortable and quite convenient to nearby locations, including Saratoga Springs and Albany. It's close to the thruway with some minimal traffic noise outside, but the rooms are quiet. Several grocery + dining options are within easy walking distance. The new renovations put a spiffy 2022 spin on the "2000s-era Fairfield" layout, which in some ways I prefer (e.g., the king suites have the bed toward the window rather than lodged in the interior of the suite as in newer Fairfields). The standout feature here is the friendly staff and exceptional service. Teresa and Bella at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful this visit, including connecting two stays and orchestrating a Titanium Elite upgrade.
